There's been a lot of talk about good ramen in singapore, but with the difference in tastes and preferences, it's quite hard to follow blindly to what others recommend! However, the recommendation to go to santouka ramen @ cuppage was one from a good friend, so i definitely had to try it!!

Without dragging on for much longer, we decided to pay the place a visit, and we were quite glad that we did not have to queue for a seat! I really like the environment @ santouka, because it really feels like i'm in an authentic ramen restaurant! I went for the pork cheek ramen, and i was really rewarded for my choice! Although i burned my tongue, it was definitely worth it. The soup was heavenly, and this is definitely the best ramen i've eaten to date. Furthermore, the pork cheek literally melted in my mouth. I will definitely go back again!

I've always had a thing for mexican food, but it isn't really easy to find affordable and authentic mexican food here in singapore! We decided to try Baja Fresh to check the place out!!

We didn't really have an elaborate meal, and the food wasn't really very filling, but it was still not too bad!!

I had some quaesidillas with shrimps and it was really really nice but just too little! The avocado is really fresh over at Baja Fresh! Also, as you will see from the photos, they have free-flow salsas over there and some are really tasty!

If you're hungry, go for the burrito! Filled, with rice, it will definitely fill you up!

A personal recommendation from a friend, i knew i had to try these place out! I had been craving for some good ribs for a long, long time and i really hoped to get it here!

The first dish that we had while waiting for my brother was the portobello mushrooms. Although they weren't cheap, they were really, really juicy and very tasty! Definitely a must try! Next up were the buffalo wings! We only ordered the mild version as my mum was afraid it would be too spicy! It didn't have much kick to it, but going together with the sauce, it was pretty decent! Next up were the main courses! First up was the spring chicken! Nothing special about it though, but the sauce was alright! One dish that everyone should try should be the ox-tail stew! The stew was oh, so flavourful and it really packed a punch! You will definitely taste the amount of effort that was put into preparing the dish. It was really quite sad that we had only one slice of bread to accompany the stew!Last but definitely not the least, the ribs are up! They were really juicy and tasty. Also, they were so tender that they were really fall off the bone standard! Definitely enjoyable!

I really do have a soft spot for waffles, and especially so if it goes with good, high quality ice cream! At tom's palette, not only are the waffles tasty, and the ice cream delicious, they are super affordable as well!!! I've been there many times before, but still never get sick of the place! Students get discounts at the place as well!!

The flavours i recommend are the salted egg yolk, berry burst, salted caramel, and many many more that i can't remember! Salted egg yolk might sound really weird but it's super addictive! Apple Pie is really nice as well!! Be sure to check this place out!!

I don't have many photos of the dimsum @ jumbo but the place is really good man! Not one of the places that go on many of the internet nowadays, but it is a reliable place for dimsum, where the food is of high quality!

Try the salted egg yolk bun here! It packs in a real punch! It has a good amount of saltiness to it, and is real flowy as well!

The XO Sauce carrot cake is one of my favourites as well so please do try it!
