baked spaghetti bolognaise Smile Jun 19, 2013

With its melted cheese spread over the hot spaghetti mixed with minced beef in tomato sauce, the taste is just heavenly.
The sauce was generously filled with meat, not including the compact meatballs that top it.
More cheese given would be better though.
The beef meatballs were juicy and tasty, apart from being a tad too salty, it was great.
The spaghetti was cooked perfectly, not too hard or too soft.
This dish is a must order for meat lovers!

MOS burger Smile Jun 19, 2013

The MOS cheeseburger from this outlet is smaller than another outlet I visited last time, it consisted of a piece of ground beef patty, a slice of thick tomato (thicker than the patty itself), a cheese slice and two toasted buns around a concoction of their delicious one and only chilli sauce.
I could not really taste the beef patty due to the chilli sauce, but at least the sauce is satisfying and flavourful enough that I scooped up those extra sauce that dropped on the burger wrapper and apply it onto my burger.
Their sauce has quite a rich onion taste with onion bits, very addictive.

lamb burger Smile Jun 19, 2013

As I was craving for lamb meat, I decided to order the Lamb Burger.
It tasted quite nice as the lamb patty was quite thick and meaty and was cooked to a medium well doneness, while retaining its juiciness and moisture, making it rather chewy and tasty.
The tomato relish and onion slices complemented each other and the burger well.
The burger bun was charred nicely and chewy, not bad.

blue cheese beef burger OK Jun 19, 2013

The Blue Cheese Beef Burger was kind of below my expectation.
It was my first time tasting blue cheese but I find that it was way too overwhelming that sort of covered the taste of the beef patty.
The pear chutney also overwhelmed the beef patty taste as there was too much of it and it was too sweet.
Perhaps another reason why I couldn’t taste the beef patty much was because it was pretty bland.
The patty was not well seasoned enough and was like a coarsely chopped up steak squashed together tightly instead of a minced beef patty.
However, I must say I’m impressed by the effort they put into their presentation of burgers which makes them looks very appetising.

ugly curry chicken puff OK Jun 19, 2013

Despite its name, I do not think it looks that ugly to deserve being called ugly, it looks just like a bigger version of curry puff though.
Instead, after looking at the photo, I think it looks like one of the angry birds character though, with the two sides that look like eyes and the bottom middle darker part that looks like a beak.
Although the whole puff looks kind of big and round, but as soon as I had my first bite, the whole puff flattened a lot.
The sprinkles on top are quite salty on the first few bite, but better around the middle where the fillings come in.
The crust is like those Malay triangular shape curry puff styles, layered and flaky, but a bit too thin for my liking.
The fillings are disappointing, nothing different from those curry puff fillings sold elsewhere. The potatoes taste normal and the chicken chunks are rough and bland, it may even be worse than some curry puff fillings sold elsewhere.
For its price ($4.80), I was expecting something unique and tasty, but it came out that it is just a bigger version of a normal curry puff.
