Sam is on annual leave, so she suggested going for Vintage Hi-Tea at House. Food selections here includes mini burgers, pizzas from Skinny Pizza, cakes & pastries. The spring roll here, was wrapped with cabbage & it taste pretty good & refreshing with fresh ingredientsWe also ordered a bottle of Apple Cider, $25 and it was served with a slice of apple

On my way home, met up with Evelyn at Orchard for late lunch. I suggested Triple-O's cos she's a sucker for burger! At 3pm, the restaurant is totally empty when we're there! Burgers were made-to-order, but we didn't wait long for it to be served My order was the Cheddar Bacon, $9.90 (I requested for the cheese to be removed). Beef patty is tender & juicy; while the bacon is crispy! Not quite sure what's the sauce inside but it sure taste good. Pickle on top of the bun can be eaten on it;s own or placed it in the burger. I opt to put it in & together with the lettuce, it gives another crunchy feelI opt to change the normal Fries to Sweet Potato Fries. Unfortunately, it was quite a disappointment. It is rather bland & it turns soggy after awhile. I still prefer the Sweet Potato Nibbles from Skinny Pizza

Was here for a Birthday celebration. This time, instead of going to restaurant, we went Lai Huat Seafood Restaurant for some tzi char food.

First dish of the night - Longevity Buns, $16. Worst Longevity bun I ever had. It was dry & quite hard & tasteless. However, this is out-sourced by restaurant owner upon request, so cannot comply on the quality. The 2 Birthday girls. Mum & daughter's birthday is 1 day apartCold Dish, $60 This is also available only upon request. The dish consists of Fried Crab Claw & Scallop, which I find both are full of flour; Century Egg with ginger slice; Jellyfish in Thai chili sauce; Abalone slices & Scramble Egg with... Sharks Fin!Fried Mee Suah, $20 is full of ingredients. Pretty goodBlack Pepper Crayfish, $36. Personally, I find the black pepper too overwhelming I practically taste nothing else except black pepperCrispy Baby Squid, $15 is sweet but some of it are a little too chewyThe Signature Sambal White Promfet, $30. The sambal taste nice but somehow I find it taste a little too much like dried shrimp. Fish used is White Promfet & it's a little over fried. Also, I would prefer it if it's Black Promfet being used.Fish Maw Soup, $30. Although it's full of ingredients, it's kind-of tasteless & the soup is too wateryFried Beancurd, $16. Fiona was raving about this but I personally find it nothing to rave about. Crispy on the outside, but the texture inside is like "steam egg being frozen, defrosted & microwaved, then finally deep fried". The oil also has this "over-used" smell.Broccoli with Scallops, $20. Scallop & Broccoli are slightly over-cooked.

After dinner, we walk along Orchard Road & then head over to Robert Timms for coffee & desserts cos we were attracted by the cute latte arts, as well as the pretty desserts on displayHowever, we were disappointed when the menu were presented to us. Most of the desserts on the menu was not available!The art on the latte were indeed cute.Since I don't drink coffee, I opt for Hot Chocolate. Sadly, the hot chocolate is totally tasteless! No even a hint of chocolate & it just taste like hot tasteless milk.

After collecting our vouchers from OpenRice, we head over to Skinny Pizza at Wheelock Place for dinner. Sam, Angela & Ivy are already there waiting for us. As usual, we ordered a total of the "3 for $18" side dish for sharing, which includes Harrisa Prawns, Truffle Fries, Sweet Potato Nibbles, 1/4m Beef Sausage, 1/4m Chicken Sausage & 1/4m Pork Sausage.Apart from the usual Squid Ink pizza, they girls also share the Chicken Satay Pizza. This is quite nice & the sauce is full of flavor. However, couldn't really find much servings of the chicken. Would be good if they serve it with shredded chicken instead of mince chickenWhile the girls share 2 pizza, I opt for the Pizza pop again! This time, I had the all-time favorite Squid Ink pizza pop!
