Impromptu dinner date with Ivy & Angela on Christmas eve. Didn't know where to go, I suggested on Fullhouse Signature cos I went to the previous one at Rendezvous hotel & it's very good.

Wanted to order 2 of the appetizer + some ala carte items but both the appetizers were out of stock, so we settle on the Christmas set meal
Meal started with Chamagne & soup (choice of wild mushroom or turkey chowder). I opt for turkey chowder with is a little creamy & sweet. The girls opt for wild mushroomFullhouse Christmas salad - well, it's actually the fullhouse salad with poached egg, drizzle with balsamic dressing. It also comes with a cheese stick which is not too cheesy for me.Main course - choice of Cod Fish or Steak. The girls opt for Cod Fish while I opt for steak. Steak is nicely done, & it's fresh. Dessert - choice of banana paradise or Molten Cake. All of us opt for Molten cake, which is served with vanilla ice cream. Ice cream taste a little light & not much of vanilla fragrance. Molten cake is sweet & lava flows when its being fork in.

Birthday celebration with the Multiply girls. This marks the last birthday celebration of the year. I initially wanted the lunch at The White Rabbit but it was booked for a wedding (sad), thus I changed my choice of restaurant to Sumiya Charcoal Grill Izakaya (formally known as Kuriya Penthouse).

5 of us ordered a set of Yokozuna Set (3-4 pax @ $168) & a set of Sekiwake Set (2-3pax @ $68). Honestly, I really couldn't remember what item is from which set cos there's simply too much food being servedPart of the meal is Sashimi (5 kinds of Moriwase). Apart from being nicely presented, the sashimi are very fresh & sweet.

Once again, I was back at OpenRice office to collect contest prize (The Hungry Games) with fellow OpenRicers midas400, y_lyn & happybaby03. After collecting our prizes, we went Ginza Bairin @ ION for dinner. Concept here is similar to MOS Burger where you place your order at the counter, get a table & your food will be served to you when it is ready.Chicken Katsu Set comes with rice, pickles & miso soup. Chicken evenly breaded & tender. However, they do not refil the cabbages here. We also add-on some sides like Oyster, Prawn, Scallop & Cheese. All are items are very fresh & nicely breaded.

Since we're at Tampines1, we went over to Just Like it! for some ice-cream after the meal at Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert. This time, the cashier (manager I supposed) asked if I wanna dine in or take-away. I remember Wendy telling me the bowl is huge, I decided to dine in to check out how huge is the bowl!Tada~~~ that's how huge the bowl is! I tried the Chill Mint Chocolate Cookies. I was expecting it to come with chocolate chips but it was accompanied with oreo cookie bites. Not what I expected, but the mint ice-cream is pretty cooling; nice.One more huge bowl w/a regular scope of Flaky Chocolate. A little rough on the texture cos the chocolate shavings. Not very chocolaty also. I still prefer the Durian flavor ice-cream

We were siting near quite near the entrance of the store & it attracts alot of curious shoppers to our table checking out the huge bowl. The 2 colleagues with me; Aunty says thee bowl is too exaggerating; 笑到见牙不见眼。。哈哈

After the heavy birthday celebration at Roadhouse, we head over to The Green Door for some drinks. The Green Door uses lots of recyclable stuffs for their decor & it's a nice place for chill place. It's also quite nice if you're looking for a place for a romantic night's out.Whiskey Sour. Quite like the bitter-sour tasteBirthday girl's Lychee Martini. Janice commented that it's slightly sweet.
