We were shown to a private room and is kinda quiet on a Saturday night. Looking through the Menu online, I wanted go for their Aglio Olio. But seeing their set dinner, I opted for it, so did Goh, Sam and Pauline.

We were given a choice of choosing Mushroom Tofu or Signature Cold Pasta with grilled prawns. I am the only one choosing the tofu so I can taste 2 different thing. The tofu really nice it was crispy on the outside and soft inside, it seems melted in the mouth yummy! I didn't regret choosing that!

In between from appetizer to main course took quite along time luckily we were served with bread and olive dip. Simply love that as I am a bread person! Fiona order the Foie Gras to try, it smelled really good so we order 2 more to share.

Goh's main was pork, Pauline have beef, Sam and I have Sea Bass. Geok Ping ordered ala carte Sea Bass too and Fiona ordered Duck Fillet. No complaints from all so should be good as for my Sea Bass it was really fresh and nice done up!

Lastly we were served dessert platter which consists of Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice Cream, Tiramisu, Orange Cream Brulee and Lychee Pannacotta. Fiona dessert was Coconut Pudding it was yummy too coconut taste was strong and they have sago inside the pudding! And according to the Ops Manager - Sally she told us that dessert was actually prepared by Chef with his mood! I am not a chocolate fan but their Chocolate Fondant is a must eat dish! The chocolate that flowed out really makes us so excited.

Birthday girl was given a complimentary Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice Cream! Thumbs up for the service here!

Boss wanted to give a treat so we choose to dine in here Teoh Chew Meng. This is the very first restaurant in Singapore they have several shops in Malaysia in different state. The place is rather small with limited seating space unlike some other restaurant which is big but is good enough to started it off!

We were greeted by friendly waiter his name is Alex, he recommended us the food immediately when we were seated. He suggested that we took a 4 pax set which cost $64 which consists of the Mee Sua Tow, Oyster Mee, Kerabu Mango, Seasonal Vegetable, Seafood roll, Prawn Pan and with dessert - Yam Paste.

He also recommended us the speciality drink - Cucumber Juice ($3.50) the moment you hear this you will go eeee cos of cucumber but fear not they added a sour plum and this combination is real good and a refreshing taste! We also ordered the Kedondong Juice ($4.50) was refreshing something different comparing to soft drink!

First up Mee Sua Tow we were asked to have that first before having the Oyster Mee, Mee Sua Tow tasted like shark's fin to me cos of the starchy feel and it goes really well with a dash of vinegar! Next will be the Oyster Mee .... the oyster smell was really over powering people whom dun like oyster may not like it, beside oyster they also added fishball, mushroom and prawn it will be good if you added their chilli in it is will have the fiery feel!

Seasonal Vegetable was normal ... and as for their Kerabu Mango not too bad just that it was not really spicy although they have chilli mix in. Prawn roll and Prawn Pan is a must to try crispy and yummy! Boss ordered another dish to go along which is their 3 flavour prawn ($12) .... kind of disappointed of this dish cos the prawn was tasteless 3 flavour sauce we only tasted sweet and is not spicy at all.

Yam Paste was good it was steamed individually in a bowl .... not too sweet I like it personally and total of our meal - $105.50 and there was no service charge at all which they provided good service! Thumbs up for it!

I love porridge so is my daughter so we always love to go Zhen Zhou Dao. Love the porridge and it was boil together with some premium soup thats why you dun have to add any soya sauce at all to make it more tastier.

Beside the porridge they have salmon salad which was very refreshing .... home made sauce make me more appetizing. Braised chicken wings, peanuts and beancurd was just nice too and it really goes well with a bowl of porridge.

Ambiance was good too just that limited seats available and it was a bit noisy if is full house.

Before I head to AMK I read from Openrice review about this stall and when I reached there I kiasu and join the queue without looking for a seat! My dear hubby still thought I am packing it back haha. Queue really very long but Auntie's fast hand and legs cleared the queue very fast! I ordered a plate to share ... the aroma of the eggs smell so good and I am very surprise to see only Auntie mending the stall alone!

Not too salty, carrot cake also soft and is goes well with the spring onions! Will come back for more!

Yummy Mao Shan Wang Smile Sep 16, 2013

We love to eat Leong Tee's durian (Mao Shan Wang). During Durian seasons when we open our office door the aroma was so strong and will often make us crave for it.

We had 4 durian in total this time... each seed was small and makes the meat so fat and creamy! It taste sweet and bitter at times is my liking of it! And Leong Tee even gave us some mineral water as well and beside durian he also sell the queen of fruits - mangosteen! Maybe some sweet durian was eaten the mangosteen tasted sour tongue
