Remember to go for their lunch special, for just $15 and below, you get to choose a main with soup of the day and a drink. I order the bockwrust sausage with cranberry rice & fries. The rice was very tasty with bits of cranberry to enhance the taste. The sausage was so soft and chewy, together with the huge chunk of fries. If you are a chocolate lover, Max Brenner is definitely the place a place you must visit. I order the hazel nut ice cream banana toffee crepe and it was to my liking, the crepe was hot and pairing together with the ice cream was so heavenly. You can even determine the amount of chocolate sauce and ganache to add onto your crepe. I will come back again for more chocolate items.

Although they have a wide range of flavor for the lava cake, but it’s a bit expensive as it cost $2.80 a piece. I find that the lava does not flow out smoothly as compared to normal lava cake, but it was thick and rich in flavor. My favorite lava cake is the matcha flavor as is rich on taste Unless I have a craving for it, I guess I won’t be back as the size is too small and expensive. [Review from mobile]

Come out from Holland village mrt and walking past a few shop and you will find D Good café.  I had the English breakfast and the amount of food was quite generous, however the taste was very normal to me and you can top a few dollars more for a cup of latte. But the ambience of the café was sweet and warm, thus these really attract me to the café, it’s definitely a good place to have a cup of latte and catch up with your friends.

With the hype of café around Tiong Bahru area, plain vanilla has also opened it second outlet around the area. Their cupcake is definitely worth trying, as it is moist and rich in flavor. Although it cost $3.50 each but with its quality it worth the amount and they have around 10 flavor to choose from, but my favorite is red velvet cupcake as it is sweet and rich in taste.
