1 for 1 Promotion Cry Aug 16, 2013
Categories : American | Restaurant | Seafood

Attracted by the 1 for 1 promotion, I decided to order a Spicy Seafood Olio for a try. Although the dish was served hot, but the ingredient such as the prawn and squid were small and the serving was miserable, as compared to the one show in their menu. It costs around $12 originally, if it wasn't for the 1 for 1 promotion, I wouldn't be attracted to order this spaghetti. Overall, I think this dish definitely has room for improvement.

Blackball Signature Cry Aug 14, 2013
Categories : Taiwanese | Chinese Desserts | Bubble Tea/ Tea

I had the blackball signature served cold, which contains ingredient such as grass jelly, pearl, yam and sweet potato. The texture of the balls was not so chewy as compared to the one I had in Taiwan and it is certainly overrated as it cost $5. Next, the shop has little seating capacity, thus it will be a better option to avoid visiting them during peak hours, and the waiting time can take up to 15 minutes or more.

Max brenner crepe OK Nov 09, 2013

If you are a chocolate lover, Max Brenner is definitely the place a place you must visit. I order the hazel nut ice cream banana toffee crepe and it was to my liking, the crepe was hot and pairing together with the ice cream was so heavenly. You can even determine the amount of chocolate sauce and ganache to add onto your crepe. I will come back again for more chocolate items.

Mini lava cake OK Nov 09, 2013
Categories : Bakery | Desserts and Cakes

Although they have a wide range of flavor for the lava cake, but it’s a bit expensive as it cost $2.80 a piece. I find that the lava does not flow out smoothly as compared to normal lava cake, but it was thick and rich in flavor. My favorite lava cake is the matcha flavor as is rich on taste Unless I have a craving for it, I guess I won’t be back as the size is too small and expensive. [Review from mobile]

Ba kut teh OK Nov 09, 2013
Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Restaurant | Bak Kut Teh

Located at a prominent area just directly opposite Clarke quay mrt station, it was easy to find locate this bak kut the shop. Although, it was very packed during lunch hours but the staff was able to get us seated in after 10mins. I find that the soup was more a peppery kind rather than the herbal, however the meat was soft and tender to my liking. Another good point is that the soup is refillable. The pig trotter was nice but it has a lot of fats. Overall, it’s still worth a try. [Review from mobile]
