Good service, good food Smile May 14, 2013

From the picture, see the sizzling hot porridge served is appetizing enough. The rest of the dishes like claypot rice and noodles are reasonably tasty but price is more on the high side.

Service is good. Staff are relatively polite except the process is rather messy that they cant serve you promptly during the peak hours.

Went to the restaurants 2 times and both didnt disappooint me. There was a lady in particularly very polite and will advise what are good and famous in the restaurant. She will also advise whether we have ordered too much for number of pax.

However, food could be a bit too oily. I experienced that during 1st visit and requested to less oil during the 2nd visit. Well, it turn out better but wish was lesser oil used.

Total spend could be up to $80 for 4 pax....

Love the Chicken Smile May 14, 2013

Although the restaurant name is Soup, i had never tried the soup as I will definitely go for the chicken. It's reasonably priced at $15+ / portion, sufficient for 2 pax. We added2 more dishes, tofu and vegetable and it was certainly filling for 3 pax. Total bill was about $54+.

Will return.

Spending per head: Approximately $18

Very humble restaurant and only with a Chinese Waiter and a chef in the kitchen.

Went on Mother's Day evening and surprisingly only us at the restaurant, which later came another table occupied. The waiter tried very hard to provide us with good services and he also needs to manage the delivery service.

Food wise, good and sashimi was reasonable fresh. a platter of 25 pcs for $21.90. The Don and Udon are typically priced between $6.90 - $9.90. Drinks wise are on the high side. Green tea at $1/ and can drinks are $1.80 - 2.50

Was comfortable as there was no need to squeeze or queue up at crowded restaurants. Will visit again.

Total bill was $60 approx.

Spending per head: Approximately $20(Dinner)

Ordered the Fried Tofu, Onion Egg, 2 Pig Stomach Soup, one pear and apple soup and the famous Pot Chicken to go with 4 bowl of pumpkin and 2 plain rice, and rinse down with a pot of good jasmine tea. Too much food for 4 pax, actually.
I must say, all dishes are well prepared and as a cantonese, the soup is reasonable well boiled. However, expected tje pig stomach soup to be more peppery, while the pear/apple soup was a little too sweet.

Will visit again, as the service is really 2 thumbs up... but the price is a bit too high.
Total spent on the food mentioned was $$70... with wet tissue at $0.30/pc.
