Satay

Satay

Went to Satay by the Bay which is a hawker centre that has many varieties of food over there. However, the food is slightly more pricey than the food in the neighbourhood hawker centres. I ordered a total of 20 Chicken Sticks and they cost me $16. The seller actually put 10 sticks on each plate with a bowl of gravy sauce, cucumbers and onions on each plate.

The satays taste pretty delicious as they were handmade and barbecued on the spot upon ordering. The gravy sauce was greatly to my liking as it was thick enough and not too watery. The amount of the gravy sauce given was not too stingy and was sufficient enough for gravy sauce lover.

Phad Thai

Phad Thai

Ordered Phad Thai at this restaurant after shopping at the nearby shops, the taste of the food was pretty good after mixing with the sugar, peanuts and dried chillies given on the side of the plate. Sadly speaking, the serving was really small and will not be enough for people who have a good appetite.

The service of this restaurant was pretty good as there was a guy helping us to search for seats, taking our orders and sending the food to us during dinner time.

The environment of the place was pretty great to me as I like seeing people strolling past the nearby clothings stores. Also, my friends and I could look at all the clothes hanging outside the nearby stores conveniently.

Artease

Artease

I have ordered the classic milk tea of 70% sweetness with glass jellies as add-on from Artease Café and it can be seen on the left of the photo. Frankly speaking, it tasted pretty similar to those bubble teas that we can easily get from most bubble tea shops.

We can actually choose the size of the cup, size of the pearl, sugar level and types of add-ons depending on our taste and preference. This works exactly the same as those Taiwanese brand of bubble teas.

Though lack of creativity but it's still a good drink to have especially for such a humid weather in Singapore.

Salted Caramel Smile May 30, 2013

Salted Caramel

Salted Caramel

Ordered three scoops of ice cream since it is more worth it than ordering just one scoop or two scoops of ice cream. As single scoop costs $3, double scoops cost $5 and triple scoop cost $7.

The three flavours that I have ordered are salted caramel, strawberry and chocolate. Sadly speaking, I actually prefer the chocolate flavour one more than their signature ice cream which is the salt caramel flavour one.

However, the salted caramel does taste yummy and unique. Perhaps because I'm a chocolate lover.

Himalayan Tea Latte

Himalayan Tea Latte

Tried this Himalayan Tea Latte at McCafé which is located inside the McDonald's of Northpoint. This Himalayan Tea Latte that I have ordered is actually a hot exotic milk tea with an infusion of spice flavour.

This Himalayan Tea Latte has an unique taste which is acceptable for me. There is also a slight sweetness in this Tea Latte which I believe is from the milk. The spice flavour in this Tea Latte is not too overwhelming, in fact, it's rather delightful.

The price of this Himalayan Tea Latte is affordable as compared to the drinks that are selling in other Cafés.
