Banana Caramel Brioche

Bought this Banana Caramel Brioche at Bread Society in ION Orchard and it costs about $3. I think that the price of this Banana Caramel Brioche is slightly pricey as it will be cheaper to buy it from some other bakery shops.

What attracted me to buy is the strong banana aroma of the Banana Caramel Brioche which was pleasant and nice. It was like eating a fresh ripped banana upon having one bite of the Banana Caramel Brioche. The outer layer of the brioche was slightly hard and dark in colour. The inner layer of the brioche was soft and spongy, it went well with the fresh banana on it.

It is suitable to have Banana Caramel Brioche at any time of the day and the packaging of it was pretty appealing as well.

Pig Organ Soup

Pig Organ Soup

Ordered this Pig Organ Soup and Rice at $4 and $0.50 respectively at Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup eatery. There are $4, $5 and $6 of Pig Organ Soup to choose from, hence, people may actually order the size of the Pig Organ Soup based on their appetite.

There were Pork Balls, Pig Livers, Pig Intestines and Lean Meat in the Pig Organ Organ Soup. I like the Lean Meat the most as it was soft and tender, softer than what I have expected, it tasted well with salty dark brown sauce and rice.

The soup was light and had a mild taste of the saltiness coming from the Salty Vegetables. I like the taste of the soup as it was refreshing and tasty. I do not have to worry about finishing the soup as I can always refill the soup unlimitedly for free.

The place is pretty similar to a shop house and their service were pretty good as they will bring over the food to me after ordering.

Beef Bowl and Sjora

Beef Bowl and Sjora

Ordered the Beef Bowl Student Set Meal at Yoshinoya at an affordable price of $5.90. This set meal comes with a Beef Bowl, a plate of French Fries and a cup of Sjora Mango Peach Drink.

The amount of beef given was slightly little and the beef was slightly chewy and unbreakable. However, the taste of the beef went really well with the spice given. The vegetables were very healthy although they were pretty bland. The vegetables went well with the soy sauce given and there was a mild sweetness from the bland vegetables.
French Fries

French Fries

The French Fries were pretty bland without any salt on them and they tasted nice even though they were not very crispy on the exterior.

Overall, I think Yoshinoya is a good place for people looking for a healthier choice of food.

Chocolate Muffin

Chocolate Muffin

Bought two Chocolate Muffins from BreadTalk at AMK Hub at a promotional price of $3. In order to enjoy this promotion, one has to buy two muffins and they are Chocolate Muffins and Blueberry Muffins to choose from.

There were quite a few of the chocolate chips on top of the muffin and the chocolate chips were sweet and slightly bitter. The taste of the muffin was enhanced with the presence of the chocolate chips. The muffin was soft and the texture was pretty similar to a sponge. The strong chocolate aroma of the muffin was a very pleasant one.

Furthermore, this Chocolate Muffin is suitable to eat in any time of the day.

Ice Milk Tea and Tea Leaf Egg

Ice Milk Tea and Tea Leaf Egg

Mee Sua

Mee Sua

Ordered this Mee Sua Set Meal at one of the stalls in Food Republic. This Set Meal costs about $8.60 and it comes with a bowl of Mee Sua, one Tea Leaf Egg, one glass of Ice Milk Tea and a packet of Fried Chicken Cutlet. I think this Set Meal is pretty affordable since it comes with many side dishes as well.

The portion of Mee Sua given was more than sufficient and it was soft and smooth as well. The pork balls on top of the Mee Sua were soft and tender although there were quite a few pieces of fats in them. The Ice Milk Tea was not too bland and it was soothing especially after eating Mee Sua and Fried Chicken Cutlet. The Fried Chicken Cutlet was very crispy and the spice was just nice. The chicken was tender and it was comparable to those famous Taiwanese Fried Chicken Cutlet. The only food I dislike is the Tea Leaf Egg as it was way too salty for me.

The ambience of the Food Republic was pretty good and the area was not very crowded during a weekday night.
