This cafe is located at the basement of Singapore Management University (SMU), just a 5 minutes walk away from Bras Basah Mrt and a 10 minutes walk away from Plaza Singapura. When we stepped into the cafe, I was quite surprised to find that it was very spacious. I thought it would be like those small little cosy cafes as seen in the pictures online.
Bennie Royale $10, Sticky Lemon Chicken $13
We ordered one item from the all-day breakfast list and another item from their mains. The Sir Bennie Royale consist of poached eggs and smoked salmon served on top of toasted English muffins drenched in hollandaise sauce. It is served with a side potato salad and mesclun salad. The Lemon Thyme chicken consist of roasted chicken thigh served with russet mash, mesclun salad and potato salad. Overall, this cafe is a cosy place to hang out in town and they serve good food at very affordable prices! Recommended Dish(es):

Mango Cheesecake
My family loves to order cakes from this Japanese cake shop as their cakes are really good! We have our own personal favourites but we decided to try a different flavour this time and we got the Mango Cheesecake for my dad's birthday! As always, the cake was so good! There were real mango fillings in between the layers of cheesecake, so smooth and addictive! One slice is never enough Recommended Dish(es):

Claypot Soft-shell Crab Glass Noodles, Honey Chicken Rice
I am so glad that Sukho Thai open at the food court near my house, just a 5minutes walk! I usually take away their food, and a few times I will eat at the food court. They serve a wide variety of food including the Phad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Tom Yum, Green Curry, Pandan Chicken, Papaya Salad, Mango Sticky Rice etcetc and also individual set meals like Black pepper fish with rice, Beef noodles and many more. My mom had the Claypot Soft-shell Crab Glass Noodles while I had the Honey Chicken Rice. Well, there was no claypot but the soft-shell crab was tasty and complimented well with the glass noodles. My honey chicken rice set also includes a fried egg and the honey chicken was so yummy! All the individual set meals is $5 while the ala carte dishes are within the price range of $3-$10. Sukho thai is my favourite Thai eatery in Singapore as their food is awesome and very affordable! Recommended Dish(es):

This stall sells really good quality desserts! Whenever I crave for a bowl of traditional dessert, I come here! I'm glad that this shop existed near my house!
Lotus Suan, $2.50
Their signature dessert is the Lotus Suan (Lian Chee Suan), which is the most expensive out of all! However, they gave a generous serving of lotus seeds which is worth it! They also sell a variety of other desserts such as Tau Suan, Cold Watermelon Ball, Sweet Potato Soup, Bubur Hitam, Black Sesame Paste, Cheng Tng etc.
Cold Watermelon Ball, $1.50
The watermelon balls were so juicy and there were so many of them! It is mixed with corns and crushed ice. Very light, sweet and refreshing!
Sweet Potato Soup, $1.50

Stranger's Reunion has always been on my list of to-go cafes and I was so excited to check it out! As my friends & I had our lunch already, we met up for some catch-up over tea time!
Buttermilk Waffles w Icecream, Mocha, Cappuccino, Piccolo Latte
I ordered a Piccolo Latte ($4), while my 2 friends ordered a Hot Mocha ($5.50) and a Hot Cappuccino ($5). I expected the coffee art to be much nicer actually as they are famous for their coffee. I guess it's not made by the Singapore National Barista Championship winner, will try my luck again next time! Anyway, there were a few different combinations of the buttermilk waffles and we ordered the one with vanilla icecream and fresh fruit ($11.50). The waffles are the thick and fluffy kind! I actually prefer my waffles to be crispy and light, but nevertheless I still enjoyed it! Especially with the icecream on top!
Apple Crumble w Icecream, $7
Feeling like having more, we went to check out the cake section which was pretty limited that day. We wanted to try their Red Velvet cake but I guess it was sold out, shall head there earlier next time! We ordered the Apple Crumble cake with icecream! Yes, we love the vanilla icecream, so creamy and smooth! The Apple Crumble cake is ordinary by itself, but makes a perfect combination with the icecream! Even though the place is crowded, their staffs kept looking around to check if any of the patrons needed anything etc and I would say their service is commendable! Recommended Dish(es):
