Lor Kway Tiao OK Apr 28, 2014

http://phuachiuyen.wordpress.com/2013/07/20/penang-delights/

Ang Mo Kio’s Penang Lor Kuay Tiao was decently good!

The chilli was spicy enough. I think it's the chilli that got me craving for mouthful after mouthful. The meats were real soft. Portion wise kind of little but what more to ask for since it's only priced around $3?

There’s an egg and some bean sprouts and kang kong too. Portion wise, quite little but better than nothing.

I love the sticky paste slightly sourish spicy taste. To me, it's not too sticky and difficult to eat. The paste was quite alright, slightly sticky but not to the extend of way too sticky that gets messy and irritating.

Usually doesn't have a queue also. Cheap and tasty.

Nasi Lemak OK Apr 23, 2014
Categories : Malay | Singaporean | Hawker Centre | Rice

$3.50 + $1.00 otah = $4.50 nasi lemak
Fragrant coconut hot rice! Normal chicken wing, ikan bilis and egg. Just like any typical nasi lemak stall.
So-so chilli, slightly on the spicy as compared to sweet side.
I doubt I’ll eat it again, so-so to me only.

wanton noodles OK Apr 23, 2014
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Hawker Centre | Noodles

Very springy wanton noodles. Sweet thin sliced char siew. Meaty wantons. Soup's hot enough. However, the overall feel was just so-so. Tasted quite like any other ordinary wanton noodles.
Quite newly opened so maybe that’s why there’s a short queue.

fatty food OK Apr 23, 2014
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Hawker Centre | Roasted Meat

Introducing to you cha siew and xio ba rice and cha siew noodles. Very sweet and quite thickly sliced cha siew. Springy noodles, a little too springy so it was a bit rubbery feel. Slightly salty and fatty xio ba but very soft to chew.

Generally has a queue - waiting time 15 to 30 minutes.

$3 only for a plate of duck rice. Very tasty and soft duck meat!!!!!! I love the soup the most, especially the herbal taste. It's piping hot too.
The lor bak rice also super good because the meat = super soft.
Minimum queue time: 15 - 30 minutes
Worth it or not? I would say so-so.
