went to dine at changi point after walking around the PC show. this outlet wasn't really a big one and their seating is very close to each other. lucky us, we got a seat near one corner after waiting about 10minutes. we ordered both dory fish and chips with soup and drinks. ice lemon tea and sprite. their sprite had some lil black thingy inside and we requested it to be changed. their waiter was nice to help us replaced another cup. soup of the day was mushroom soup. their soup is very thick and lots if bits mushroom. serving of the fish takes about 10-15mins and their fries was like harden and some even burnt. overall spending $35++ with our ntuc member discount.

Ichiban Sushi Smile Jun 10, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

went to dine in at the newly renovated ichiban sushi @ ang mo kio hub on friday before 5pm with boyfriend. there wasn't any queue but the place was already full. waited for like 5 minutes to get a seat.

the menu

; the sushi menu

; we ordered Ice Lemon Tea ($2.20++), Coke Light ($2.20++), 1 color plate - Tamago Sushi ($2.40++)

; Chicken Katsu Toji ($10.90++) with complete meal rice set which include miso soup, fruits and chawamushi ($3.50++)

and lastly, Tori Curry Cheese Wazen ($16.90++)

.

The tamago sushi taste delicious and presented in appealing manner. Chicken Katsu Togi taste abit salty because of the sauces, the whole serving is quite big. Chawamushi taste nice with mushroom, chicken and crab meat inside. Miso soup was abit salty to me but still acceptable. Tori Curry Cheese Wazen, the curry was very delicious with mixture of cheese may sounds weird but really excellent.

overall, if dinning at peak hours got to queue earlier as the queue sometimes can end up like 15-20 minutes waiting time. worth a visit if you haven.

Dined at this coffee shop with boyfriend. We ordered 2 plates - one is fried rice with chicken chop and another fried rice with chicken wings both comes with a sunny egg. Liked the chicken wings very much, as it is crispy and addictive, one is simply not enough! As for the chicken chop, the tenderness is just nice, the black pepper sauce is not very hot like those with lots of pepper. fried rice included ham, egg, it is simple and nice. Overall, we spend $11 bucks on 2 dishes.

Went to dine there for lunch with boyfriend. The parking there was surprisingly easy to get during lunch hours. The crowd was not really packed and could get ourselves seats quite fast. We ordered enough for 2 persons to share: luncheon meat, steam egg, bitter gourd and cauliflower vegetables and 2 rice. The meal costs $8 in total. The price is a bit expensive as compared with other mixed rice. The egg was nicely steamed and even contained some meat and salted egg. The cauliflower is not hard and very tasty. The luncheon meat and the bitter gourd tasted normal. The duck sauce used to mix with the rice is very nice! Must try! (:

Yong He Smile Jun 06, 2013

Yong He Eating House is famous for its dou jiang (soya bean milk) and you tiao (chinese fried breadstick). So asked boyfriend along to dine, ordered the soya bean milk with you tiao and also mee sua. The you tiao is crispy that goes perfect with the soya milk. The mee sua was thick and starchy. add in vinegar will taste better. As it open 24hrs, recommended for those who late night suppers want to have some light bites, can try out their dish and they also sell dim sum etc.
