Chin Mee Chin Confectionery Smile Jul 15, 2013

Got to know this confectionery from some online bloggers. Out of curiosity, on a random day, went to try it out with my boyfriend. We ordered the kaya toast with butter, it was so simple but it tastes so wonderful. The soft-boiled eggs were just nice, not overcooked and does not taste the raw egg taste. we also ordered the custard puffs. Overall, nice place for breakfast or a brunch session.

Prawn Noodle  OK Jul 13, 2013

Tried out the prawn noodle with my family. The prawn noodles dish is not too dry, is just nice. But the mixture of beehoon is a bit too little. The prawn is also not fresh enough and a bit small in size. The chilli is super spicy and nice. The sotong is chewy, not bad. The lean meat would be better if there were a bigger portion given. Overall is still acceptable and will reconsider revisit again.

Prata OK Jul 13, 2013

Had prata for supper with friends. We ordered one egg prata, one plain, nasi lemak, soup tulung and pattaya rice. The plain prata is a bit hard, the egg prata is just nice. The pattaya rice is spicy also lots of seafood ingredients, the prawns are fresh. The serving portion is just nice for those very-hungry people. The soup tulung soup base is very starchy though. The nasi lemak chicken wings are nicely crispy, the ikan bilis are very tasty too. Overall, we spent around $31.65 (inclusive of GST).

I saw this leaflet from my letter box, so I decided to bring my family along to try. What attracted me was the leaflet stated '50% discount on total bill, no GST and service charge'.

We ordered the bee hoon, pratas and fried rice. The fried rice was very plain, don't really like it. Bee hoon is so-so but the taste is still not there. Prata is still acceptable. if I'm paying the normal price for this 3 dishes, I won't go back for another visit. Before the discount the bill came up to $14+, after the discount we paid $7+.

Went there for work, had breakfast ordered 'hey mee kuay teow soup' aka prawn kuay teow. Waiting time not really long, service is good. Inside got very 2 big prawns, think should be tiger prawns, minced meat, kangkong, shrimps (which you can add yourself). The soup base is very nice, super delicious until finish the whole bowl of soup. Pricing wise is quite expensive. Total spent $5. Will revisit again.
