If you are looking for a quick bite at Serangoon NEX without burning a hole in your pocket, this might be the place for you!

Stumbled upon Men Men Don Don when we were scratching out heads wondering what are our lunch options other than expensive restaurants or fast food outlets. So we planted ourselves in the small little eating area after ordering our food from the display boards which fringed the store front, waiting with rumbling tummies for the yummy lunch ahead. The Katsu don was served with eggy goodness drenched all over it. Definitely not stingy with the amount, every single mouthful of rice comes coated with the egg. Definitely a recommended item!The Katsu curry don was drenched in curry which is obviously pre-mixed but I don't really mind it that much. Thick chunks of chicken chop  was fried till crispy. You can add on $3 to get an additional set consisting of chawamushi, hot green tea and 2 salmon sushi.

$6.80 for a bowl of Pork Katsu don and $8.80 for a bowl of curry don, MEN MEN DON DON is aiming to provide above average Japanese at reasonable prices. I definitely see this as a good stopover for those who would like to grab a quick meal which doesn't stinged on the quality of food.

Was on the lookout for something new to eat at Holland V but the cafés there closed pretty early, so I am back at Yoshimaru again!

Looking for something a little different, we had ordered the sesame ramen which is served with a dark brownish sauce. It may not look appetising but life's short so why not?!

There is a side of butter served with the ramen which makes the taste a little more rich and creamy!

It is a little salty but the aftertaste has a very surprising spicy kick to it which caught us off guard! Be ready with a glass of water as it is definitely not for those who can't take spicyness!

Definitely not a flavour that everyone would appreciate, I did have quite a liking for it. It can be quite jelat after a while so I would suggest that you switch bowls with your partner or order to share

Hougang Mall's outlet is still my favourite outlet to go to with the great service provided by their servers! 

Ordered a premium set meal which came with a teriyaki chicken rice bowl + steamboat + salmon sashimi! You can also spot the 4 pcs of salmon avocado sushi which we added on. 

This is still my favourite set to order with the amount of items provided for less than 20 bucks!

Salmon avocado is my most recommended item and you got to try it out to find out why!

We also ordered a garlic rice to share cause I have always been curious about its taste. Loaded with preserved vegetables and salmon, the food is kept warm with the hot stone bowl it was kept in. Definitely a choice for me when I am looking for something healthy!

Nestled among Jalan Riang’s private estate, this is a place you would definitely miss from the main road unless you decided to take a ride through the private estate to peek into people’s houses.Despite the remote location, wimbly lu is often full house! Lucky for us, we only waited for 15 mins and we slot our orders in fairly quickly with the help of a friendly staff.Rich but it kind of lack the thickness I seek. I am a sucker for really really thick and rich hot chocolate which is not often found in Singapore.A base of Meringue dosed with whipped cream and Raspberry Compote.
Nothing fantastic honestly. It tasted just like how I describe it.It’s a cake thats chocolately,made from healthy tofu and yummy to boot!
Best combi ever and I honestly didn’t taste a single bit of tofu despite its name! Love love love. That is going to be the reason why I m stopping over back at this place.There are other cakes on display which I am looking forward to try again and I am sure you would like to try too.

Prices are from $5 onwards with most desserts in the $6-8 range.
Despite the difficult location, it is definitely a place I will go back to, with chocoholic lovers!

This is a cake which my dear food kaki, Kaiyi have raved about to me; and I have even heard claims that it was even better than Awfully Chocolate’s cake (Though I am never really a fan of their cakes)

I was curious, but there was never a good reason to get the cake since its first outlet is tucked away in Changi Village, a 30mins drive away from home. However, with a new outlet opened at 313 Somerset, my sister’s birthday proved to be a good excuse to indulge in some chocolate!

I placed an order on their website and selected a day to head down collect it.

There is both original and dark chocolate flavour. Because the family is more into Dark chocolate, that was the choice which I totally dont regret!I love love love how generous they were with their chocolate which was so smooth and melts in your mouth, sending you to chocolate heaven! If you have eaten before and love how Royce chocolate taste, this is exactly how it felt with every mouthful.
