Bad Service at TCC MBS Cry Sep 26, 2013
Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

We were quite surprised when we reach coz its usually quiet today and only one server at TCC and his attitude is not very good. Look at the glass for water, there's an obvious stain on the cup and when I ask him to change for me, his face turn a little black. Service is also slow as there is only one server.. and we are so annoyed as many items on the menu is out of stock.

Ordered the July's feature drink - Sensorial Sizzle but was quite disappointed as the drink tasted a little different from what I have drink from other branches and again the jelly that is supposed to be in the drink is out of stock.

Tuna Tataki Salad, nothing to rave, just another salad with raw tuna..

Spicy-hot Wings, luckily this is nice, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside..

Crisp-club Sandwich, hubby ordered this and commented that this is not nice, the bread is over toasted and a little hard..

Pan-seared Chicken Breast w/ Shogayaki Sauce, my friends commented that this is nice, the chicken is tender and the sauce is nice..

We ordered some desserts to share, Pinana Landing and Devil-misu. The cake for the pinana landing is a little too dry and the Devil-misu is not nice at all.. it does not taste and look like tiramisu, to me, I think it looks more like a mousse drink, not nice at all, thick and not much of coffee taste.

Given the kind of service and food quality, I doubt I will ever return to TCC at MBS again.

Supper Cry Sep 26, 2013
Categories : Coffeeshop

Its been a super long time since we come to Yong He for supper as we feel their standard had dropped and is not as nice as before.. Hubby is craving for egg roll, we decide to come here for supper..

The menu..

No sugar is added to their soya bean milk, you have add sugar on your own.. I do not like the soya bean milk here, as layer of soya bean milk skin is formed quickly if leave it on the table for a while and it taste so weird to drink with the layer of skin...

Mee suan, this is still ok after adding vinegar but I find the soup base too thick and starchy..

Hubby says this is ok, nothing much to rave about..

The you tiao is cold and super oily, not nice...

The price of the food here is reasonably priced but I feel the staffs here have a little attitude problems..

Bread Talk Breakfast Cry Sep 08, 2013
Categories : Bakery

Bread Talk headquarters at Tai Seng is finally open and so today we decide to go there to try. Decide to order the usual stuffs we had when we dine at Bread Talk but was quite disappointed with the food quality here.

The bo lou bun here is not warm and not that soft as compared to the other breadtalk outlet.

The mee rebus looks yummy but the taste is no good, the noodles are not fully cooked, a little hard and the gravy is not that nice as compared to the other outlets we go.

The laksa is not yummy at all, the mee tai bak is cooked till so soft, check out the next pic, it is so soft till it is all broken into small pieces, very disappointed.

the coffee here is not nice too, a little sour in taste, don't like.

Sakae Sushi Cry Jul 18, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi | Kids-Friendly

My hubby and I decided to have Sakae Sushi for dinner after some grocery shopping. The standard dropped and the food is not nice. I was terribly disappointed.

Sakae Chawanmushi: A little dry and not very smooth.

Chuka Hotate Chinmi: Tasted normal with nothing to rave about

Teriyaki Chicken Don: The rice's portion is quite huge but the sauce they drizzled over the chicken is too little and we have to ask for more sauce.

Egg Mayo Inari: Tasted ordinary, with nothing to rave but the egg mayo is quite little.

Sashimi Salad: Did not take a liking to the salad sauce as it has taste of wasabi which I don't like.

This was quite nice but unfortunately I forgot its name.

Hi-tea Cry Jun 17, 2013
Categories : Hotel | High Tea | Desserts and Cakes

We decided to have a celebration together at Scotts 10, Hyatt for Candice and Hazel's birthday celebration for the January babies. This is my 2nd visit to Scotts10, Hyatt and so i am not going to mention anything about the ambience etc but on the service provided, it was much different from my previous experience.

I was rather satisfied and happy when I first visit them in November 12, and I still recommended this place to my friends. But today, I am extremely unhappy and very disappointed in the service and food.

During my first visit, my friend and I were greeted and served upon arrival. We did not have to request the waitress to send us the food tier. Food, drinks, requests are all delivered and answered within minutes.

This time, I am not greeted at the door and the food tier was not served immediately when I was seated. I had to ask the waitress to get it for me after 10mins and the worst part is the drinks. The drinks we ordered took more than 20mins to arrive. I am not served any sugar syrup for my iced ginger tea and I have to share it with my friend over 1/4 filled sugar syrup jug. I was still not given sugar syrup when I ordered another cup of iced lemon tea. Finally I was given a pathetic small quantity of sugar syrup when I ordered iced coffee but again, we had to share it.

This is supposed to be buffet but food are not refilled instantly and we have to again wait and wait. The food we ordered are not served at all but rather, we were served food that we never ordered and from the other table as they do not want it. We have to reorder and reorder, but items were sent wrongly or not sent at all. Kids are not given kids cutlery and the waiters can still tell us they have run out of kids cups.

The things that cheer us up are the gathering with friends over tea and to celebrate their birthdays together. Don't think I will visit them again because I am very disappointed this time round. To pay $48++ per pax, I think it is definitely not worth it.
