Caffe Latte Smile Sep 25, 2013

Categories : American | Café | Pasta | Burgers and Sandwiches

Ordered a cup of caffe latte while waiting for client. Cafe is small and cozy as their seat is all like seating by the bar and they play smoothing music to ease your day and stress. I like this cafe as have a homely feel.

Latte is good and they use brown sugar and a biscuit from Belgium, it denfinelty freshen up my day. According to them, they do have mobile cafe available for gathering or party, it does serve as a bonus to them.

Will be back for other variety coffee. Spent $4.50 for it.

Breakfast Smile Sep 18, 2013

Categories : Singaporean | Hawker Centre

Bought breakfast from this stall to share with my mum. Ordered one sweet potato, green bean cake, curry puff, two yellow bean sesame balls, butterfly and you tiao.

Sweet potato is really delicious as is big, tasty and not oily. Green bean cake fry just nice and crispy, the filling is enough. As for the yellow bean sesame ball and you tiao, i feel is abit on oily side. Curry puff and butterfly is normal, nothing special on it.

Total spent is $4.90 for all.

Menu

Walk past this area on a raining day and decided to have Bak Kut Teh since the weather is cold.

If i don't remember wrongly, this stall use to be a chicken rice stall. We ordered their Signature Bak Kut Teh, Salted Vegetable, Peanuts, You Tiao and Preserved Veg with Braised Pork.

The environment is abit of noisy as is located inside a coffee shop. My colleague and i was so excited to try out their Signature bak kut teh as we are wondering what is the difference between signature and normal. Our food arrived shortly after we order and the staff is polite and friendly in allowing us to take our time to think.

The soup is fantastic as is still piping hot. The herbs that they use is strong and the pepper taste is great. What's more, there is three large pork ribs and to our surprise, the soup is refillable and is automatic. One staff will actually bring around a kettle and refill it for you once they notice your soup is running low. I can say that they have a good customer service attitude.

Next, nothing special about Salted Vegetable, Peanuts, You Tiao and Preserved Veg with Braised Pork. As is just a normal can of peanuts which served in plate. The only thing i can suggest to them is to cut the braised meat into slices and mix it well with preserved vegetable.

Overall experience is good and it certainly warms up our body after this meal and will strongly recommended to all my friends to give it a try. lol

Spent $21 for two pax lunch.

One look from it, you can know how delicious it is. Noodles is tender and easy to chew on and is most suitable for elderly people. Ingredients consists of lettuce, mushroom, meatball, minced meat and pig liver. It blends in well with the noodles and also the chili sauce.
Meatball

Meatball is self made and every size is similar, with fantastic taste! chopstickchopsticktongue
Mushroom

Mushroom

Braised mushroom is one of my favorite foods. It really taste delicious specially because I could tell that the mushrooms have been cooked for long time as the sauce is been soaked in. With one bite, I was able to taste the difference from the rest of the Bak Chor Mee that I have eaten before.
Soup

Soup

Soup certainly plays a part in this Bak Chor Mee as is dry noodles. Every time I will taste the soup first before I eat the noodles. I like their soup base and it tastes just like the same when you are having steamboat as all the ingredients' flavours in it.
Chili

Chili

Their own special chili serve together with garlic, guess that is what Teochew people prefer to have their meals with it.

Overall taste, is fantastic. Won't mind to come eat everyday. bowl

Spending per head: Approximately $3(Breakfast)

This is my first time trying out Myanmar food which my friend recommend me. I was excited to try it out and curious about how the taste will be like.
We had a rice noodles, claypot noodle and of course their specialty deep fried pork ribs.

Rice noodles

Rice noodles taste well with their special sauce in it. Got to mix everything well and eat. Noodles was soft and easy to chew on it. ingredient will be minced chicken meat, onions and their special sauce. It is totally a new experience for me to try out a new cuisine.
Claypot noodles

Saw this dish in their menu and was tempting to try it. The soup base is tasty enough and also it comes along with meat balls, vegetable, corns and hotdog. The serving is generous as you can see from the picture shown above. I liked the taste so much that I almost wanted to order another serving.

Since we are here and got to try their specialty for it. The meat is tender and easy to chew on. Meat is well fried and the taste is wonderful. I had almost half a plate of the meat by myself. Wanted to order another serving but my friend is too full to eat another round.

Overall experience is fantastic, will come back to try their other dishes really soon.tongue
