Ramen Smile Oct 02, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Ramen | Kids-Friendly

Order a spicy char siew ramen set for lunch together with scallops sushi and ice lemon tea. Ramen was tasty as the noodles was soft and smooth. Soup base was good and mixed well together with the chilli. Char siew is tasty as is soft and tender. Scallops sushi was just acceptable as is not well done as in wrapping it up and rice doesn't have much taste for it. Total spent for it is $13.90

Yoghurt Smile Oct 01, 2013

Categories : Frozen Yogurt

Walk past this outlet by chance and decided to give it a try cause of the super bright light that attracted me. Brought a medium cup and it cost $5.50 with three topping of your choice. Chooses mixed berry, banana and biscuit crumbs. The taste is delicious and it certainly open up my taste bud due to the sourness of the wild mixed berry. Biscuit crumbs play a part in it as well, once you mix with the yoghurt. you will get a crunchy taste.

Will be more for a bigger cup of yoghurt. lol

Bak Kut Teh OK Oct 01, 2013

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Restaurant | Bak Kut Teh

Was here with my colleague having lunch. Ordered Bak kut teh, tau kee, preserved vegetable and braised pork intestines.

I would say that the standard of this stall has dropped as the soup doesn't really have the bal kut teh taste and the meat is not soft enough.

Tau Kee and braised pork intestines is really tasty, especially the intestines is cleaned up throughly and doesn't have the pig scent. As for preserved vegetable is normal, nothing much to praise about.

Will come back to try their pig trotter one day.

Was curious about this stall when saw people are queueing up for it during lunch time. Order a minced meat noodles to give it a try as never taste it before. It was a simple dish as far as i can see. Ingredients like cucumber and minced meat. The noodles texture is soft and smooth. The sauce that goes with it, i not quite sure what is make of but certainly i can say is that it blend well into the noodles and meat. Is a bit salty though but still acceptable. Spent $3.50 for a bowl of noodles.

Was having lunch with my client at this restaurant, formerly located at mandai and shifted to here not long ago. Environment is peaceful and staff are friendly and helpful. After meals, you can take a walk at the garden and admire the beautiful Orchid. Ordered Fried Sambal Seasonal Peas, Ee-Fu Noodle with Crab Meat and Fried Shrimps with Mango Sauce.

Fried Sambal Seasonal Peas is delicious and stir-fry till just nice. Is not too spicy and is crispy. Vegetable is fresh.lol

Ee-Fu Noodle with Crab Meat is a next dish that i will recommend to everyone as noodles is soft and the sauce that they are using simply blend into the whole dish. mad

Fried Shrimps with Mango Sauce - Shrimps is well fried and if i'm not mistaken, the shrimps that they are using is Tiger prawn as is big and tender. Together with the mango sauce, is really taste like heaven. Not too oily and is delicious for it.mad

Got to try on their self blended Lime juice, it include fresh squeeze lime and with jelly with it. Definitely open up your taste bud.

Appetizers does serve a purpose as they giving peanuts and cucumber mixed with chilli sauce.

Strongly recommended to everyone to try it out but got to drive in. If not, got to walk in after alighting at the bus stop outside.tongue

Total spent : $70
