Came across this new stall and decided to give it a try due to curiosity how will it taste like ban mian with pork belly as we all know that the normal ingredients for it will be like meat, vegetable, eggs and ikan bills. But as for this stall, every ingredients remain as it is just there is a different, they use pork belly. To my surprise, it taste great!!!. They cooked the pork belly in shabu shabu method and top it on the noodles. Noodles is cooked just nice. Soup base is good and delicious. Will definitely come back for it.

Delicious Kueh Smile Aug 06, 2013

Order three different kuehs this morning as breakfast. Their kuehs is all specially handmade and you can see it from the stall itself as they will be preparing the kuehs at the back of the stall. Kuehs is less oily and the filing is sufficient in it. The most favorite is their Jiu Cai Kueh as is a traditional Teochew favorite kueh. They do sell all kinds of kueh that you can find else where. The price for it is worth it and cost me $2.60 for breakfast and is acceptable.

Despite this is a zi char and Thai steamboat restaurant, they do operate during lunch time for working adults. Ordered a combination of sliced and fry fish soup due to the long queue outside make me curious on what they sell during lunch.

The soup base is good. Fish is fresh and the portion that they give is even. Along with it will be beancurd and xiao bai cai which is pretty normal that you can find it in other stall too. The only thing is that they garnish it off with fried egg that makes it even tasty. Will come back to try on their other dishes.

Whenever I was around this area, will dropby this stall to have a delicious Bak Chor Mee.

As you can see from the photo, the serving that they gave is enough to make your stomach bloated. Noodles is cooked just nice, not too soft neither too hard. Ingredients consist of two type fish cake, meatball, fishball, minced meat and mushroom. Soup is normal added with seafood.
A bowl cost just $3.50 and is definitely worth it despite of the area where it operate in.

Will come back soon for their noodles.

Decided to have something light for breakfast, ordered a chicken glutinous rice and a meat pao.

The lady is friendly when ordering and it was serve pitting hot. Taste for the both dish is good and most importantly is when the weather is cold and having a warm breakfast. They do sell other pao and dim sum too. The price is reasonable and affordable. Will come for it when i pass by.
