Popiah Smile Sep 18, 2013

Although is a rojak, it does sell popiah. Ordered two popiah with chilli. I like this stall popiah as is full of ingredient and is not too wet. The filling is enough for each bite and they ensure that their ingredient is freshly pick. The staff is friendly in taking your order. Ingredient will be like eggs, turnip, beansprouts, garlic and etc. They ensure that it wrapped tightly and won't peel off when they cut it equal. Spent $1.30 for each popiah.

Kway Chap OK Sep 18, 2013

Categories : Food Court | Chinese Soup

Ordered Kway Chap for dinner, I should say overall taste is acceptable as there isn't much taste on the Kway itself even though is added with it's braised sauce. The ingredients is pretty fair and normal. The meat is tender just not enough taste for it as can be see from the photo is totally dry with not much of the sauce on it. Pig skin is good, soft and tender. easy to chew. Spend $3.50 for it, Will be back for their pig organ soup which have a pretty fair of review for it.

Walk past this area on a raining day and decided to have Bak Kut Teh since the weather is cold.

If i don't remember wrongly, this stall use to be a chicken rice stall. We ordered their Signature Bak Kut Teh, Salted Vegetable, Peanuts, You Tiao and Preserved Veg with Braised Pork.

The environment is abit of noisy as is located inside a coffee shop. My colleague and i was so excited to try out their Signature bak kut teh as we are wondering what is the difference between signature and normal. Our food arrived shortly after we order and the staff is polite and friendly in allowing us to take our time to think.

The soup is fantastic as is still piping hot. The herbs that they use is strong and the pepper taste is great. What's more, there is three large pork ribs and to our surprise, the soup is refillable and is automatic. One staff will actually bring around a kettle and refill it for you once they notice your soup is running low. I can say that they have a good customer service attitude.

Next, nothing special about Salted Vegetable, Peanuts, You Tiao and Preserved Veg with Braised Pork. As is just a normal can of peanuts which served in plate. The only thing i can suggest to them is to cut the braised meat into slices and mix it well with preserved vegetable.

Overall experience is good and it certainly warms up our body after this meal and will strongly recommended to all my friends to give it a try. lol

Spent $21 for two pax lunch.

Tasty Biryani Smile Aug 24, 2013

Categories : Indian | Food Court | Halal

Finally got a chance to taste the biryani from this stall as according to my mum, their biryani is tasty. Bought a fried chicken nasi biryani back home to eat after long tiring day.

Indeed it was very tasty, the rice still have strong taste of the herbs that they use and can be found in your rice too. Normally they will give cucumber and onions as the side dish, I changed it to long bean instead and is no further charge at all.smile

Chicken was well fried and crispy. The meat is tender and delicious. Guess they have marinate for a long time before frying.

Curry is not too spicy and I love the curry taste.

Will come back for more biryani soon lol

Recommended Dish(es):  Nasi Biryani

Spending per head: Approximately $5(Dinner)

Chicken biryani is always a good choice for me whenever was feeling famished, bought a packet of fried chicken biryani from this new stall near my place.

Is a simple meal that I can think of. They are generous in giving the rice, as you can see from the photo. Rice taste is a bit bland as didnt haveuch spices taste but is still acceptable for me.

Chicken meat is tender and well fried. is crispy till the bone can be eaten though is salty, guess that how our Indian friends prefer it. smile

Topped it off with chicken curry and taste like heaven and with extra potato. Curry is not spicy and it bring out the whole taste of biryani.

Will be back for their mee goreng and etc... soon...
