Extended lunch Smile Aug 16, 2013

My boss brought me to eat this after lunch! and I had a lemon lime juice (which I personally think is really good (SOUR TO FRESHEN UP!) but abit toooooo sour after awhile.) We shared a pecan lemon cheese tart and THAT WAS LIKE WOAH! The pecan was roasted so awesomely, and it complemented the lemon cheese sooo well, plus there was a glaze on the top. WOOHOO. Really really really good.

The other cake, (i think is carrot cake) was just normal. dont have a strong impression of it.

The coffee iced dripped coffee was drunk by my friend, personally im not a great fan of coffee, but the cold coffee together served with the copper cup helped kept the drink cool. I thought and felt that it was a good experience!

The clam chowder spaghetti. WOW. I LOVE. personally i love soupy stuff, but their cream sauce wasnt gelat! and there was aloooooooot of clams. and the sauce was generous.

The omelette rice was of good taste. Love how the egg and the rice had this gentle and delicate taste.

It was my friend's birthday and they gave a free souffle to him! WOW =D

I ate their banana flavour for this. Wowwww. i really really enjoyed. I'm not too sure if its because of the environment, (SO COSY) (BUT the human traffic could get too much) or cuz of the ice cream. I know they have many unique flavours.. I did a taste test before buying and SALTED CARAMEL GULA MELAKA really really caught my tongue. (HAHA) but i decided on a safe banana flavour. The next time I'm going there, I'm gonna get my salted caramel gula melaka fix.

Baby Crayfish

Baby Crayfish

lol I really enjoyed this dish, it is topped with wasabi roe, making it a little spicy, but the spiciness was balanced with the crayfish and its sauce!
Scallop Spaghetti

Scallop Spaghetti

This spaghetti has 4 scallops, a generous portion that I almost couldn't finish it! But the scallop is really soft and juicy and the sauce really was flavourful. I enjoyed it!
Salmon Mentaiki

Salmon Mentaiki

This dish also came with a half cooked egg, watery and the way I like it. The salmon was delicious!
Wafu Beef Spaghetti

Wafu Beef Spaghetti

This Wafu Beef Spaghetti was savoury enough to balance with the pasta, and the sauce is nice too!

Recommended Dish(es):  salmon mentaiki,wafu beef,scallop,baby crayfish

Kith Cafe Smile Dec 05, 2013

First time I'm here and I'm really impressed with the furnishing and interior design, really liked how they made the details all come together into one coherent identity for the cafe. The tables are put together with different planks of wood plus a constrasting plank of yello marble or acrylic. This is also carried over to the clipboard menu they have where is is laminated brown with yellow colour. The chairs also carries the same language of this plank and the chairs are modular, making it very practical when accomodating different groups of people. Also. The seats are small yet pratical, not like those in subway where it takes up all the space in the restaurant. The big breakfast was reallyyyyy big. I had sourdough toast and poached eggs ( we could choose the type of toast and egg) I enjoyed my sourdough, a little crispy and not gelat, but I enjoyed my friend's brioche toast more because it had a buttery sweet taste! The egg I would have preferred a more softer egg white but this is good as well. Really liked the Hotdog on my plate. It had a nice flavour, not too strong, but nice to complement. The mushrooms were a nice complement to the super salty bacon!
