Went back to the QQ noodle house as i really liked their signature noodle and wanted to try something else.
Fried Vermecelli

Fried Vermecelli

The fried vermicelli is done pretty well. The portion is sufficient but lacks more stuff inside. Will be good to have some seafood in it
Fried QQ noodle

Fried QQ noodle

This is simply awesome. can smell the fragrance from far, and it's done pretty well. They use the same QQ noodle which taste even better when stir-fried. The sauce is good as well. Add some chilli and it's good to go

Recommended Dish(es):  Fried QQ noodle

Went for thai food yet again (and wondering why my friends like thai food so much)
Appetizer

Appetizer

Appetizer was good, especially when you have a hungry stomach. Mango strips and spice complement perfectly
Tom Yum Soup

Tom Yum Soup

Soup is good as well (better than average tom yum), but could have more stuff inside and the portion can be bigger
Grilled Seafood

Grilled Seafood

This is nice and i like the squid which complements the sauce. But the prawn tastes a little dry and they can be bigger in size.

Macaroons Smile Aug 19, 2013

Macaroons

Macaroons

The famous air-flown macaroons from Laduree at Orchard. I actually got this from the shop not the kiosk. My personal favourite is actually the salted caramel, which is pretty nice. The macaroons are good but pretty expensive. If you just wanna get for your own consumption, i suggest not getting the box set as essentially you are just paying extra for the box. Try the salted caramel.

Prawn Noodle OK Aug 19, 2013

Went to the Blanco Court Prawn Noodle for lunch today - this stall is apparently very popular with the working crowd nearby.
Prawn Noodle

Prawn Noodle

Wu Xiang pick and mix set. The stuff were ok but pretty oily. Not spectacular and probably just average. Can give it a miss unless you want additional food to go with your noodle
Wu Xiang

Wu Xiang

Their signature prawn noodle/bee hoon. The soup is good and the number of prawns are acceptable for the cost. However, a little too salty for my liking and the noodle is rather oily.

Thai Food Dinner Again OK Aug 19, 2013
Categories : Thai

This little thai eatery at bugis is always packed, with a queue, especially during lunch hours on weekdays.
Tom Yum Soup

Tom Yum Soup

The tom yum soup is very spicy and definitely not for those who can't take spicy food well. However, it is good (shiok) and comes with different seafood inside. The portion is not too stingy as well. Good for sharing.
Fried Veg

Fried Veg

Stir fried fan shu ye. The taste is ok, however, i find it a little too oily. Definitely don't need so much oil for such a small plate of vegetable. They can improve on the portion as well.

Service wasn't too good.
