Delhi restaurant has been Nominated Singapore’s 100 Best Restaurants by Singapore Tatler numerous times. Located in Little India in Singapore, the ambience at Delhi restaurant puts us at ease immediately.
Our experience at Delhi Restaurant was nothing short of amazing; our only regret was that we didn’t have enough stomach space to try more of their dishes! We highly recommend trying out all their chicken dishes as all they never failed to wow us with its tenderness. Though Delhi restaurant is managed by Chinese couple Clifford and Diana, the crew behind the kitchen door is made up of authentic Indian chefs, lovely proof that cultural intermingling can produce really great food!
Must try Mango Lassi (5.00),Chicken Malai tikka (11.00),Gobhi Manchurian (11.00),Butter chicken (13.00),Bhoona Gosht (12.00) and 1/2 mix grill sizzler (18.00)

Siam Society – Good Siam food! Smile Sep 21, 2014

Categories : Thai

Entering the restaurant, you’ll get an immediate feel of how the food’s going to be like – with modern, sleek and all-black furniture, Siam Society’s no ordinary neighborhood joint. Naturally, the food dished out matches the aesthetic of the interior – a modern, yet still casual and accessible take on classic Thai.
Overall, we can see that Siam Society @ Jalan Riang definitely makes a concerted effort to ensure that there’s fresh and high quality ingredients in every one of the dishes. Not only were the mains on the whole good, the sauces that complemented the dishes were also stars in their own right. We highly recommend the Yellow Curry Prawn, Seabass, Tom Yum and Fried chicken skin – all absolute must tries!

Backstage café is located in the industrial area away from crowded teen hangouts. There is just something so mysteriously attractive about dining in areas away from the hustle and bustle of rushing crowds. (That, coupled with the fact that it was just a couple of bus stops away from the Aljunied train station, made it a lot more enticing!)
There were plenty of seats and the seating arrangement was very spacious. Another huge plus point! Since it was a weekday, their weekday 3 course lunch which consists of a soup, a main that you pick from 8 choices, and dessert.
On the whole, the food was really average, but the ambience and the friendly staff made up for it. It might have been because the lunch options were rather limited; we couldn’t try the other options on the menu which were only available after 2pm on weekdays.

K Cook Korean BBQ offers both indoor air-conditioned and open air sitting, with a huge LCD screen playing popular K pop MTVs in the open air area, entertaining its mostly young teenage customer base.
First of all, K Cook Korean BBQ Buffet is created for those who love meat – the whole point of BBQ. So health buffs, don’t come here expecting too much healthy fare!
Sides dishes were average. But the Kimchi was one of the dishes that stood out amongst all!
Our verdict, with the affordable pricing and the variety of BBQ meat available, K Cook BBQ Buffet is a natural magnet for youth and young adults looking for a good place to chill at night.

Tucked away in a small little corner at The Plaza just a couple of minutes’ walk away from Nicoll Highway MRT, is a hidden gem that specialises in Panini. If you don’t already know, Panini is a sandwich made with Italian bread that is usually toasted. Walking into the café, the design of the shop sure suited its name, filled with only black and white decors. It was not the most fanciful of cafes, but it was very simple and neat, with cosy yellow lighting, making it rather homely anyway.
Here’s one more reason for you to check out Black & White Caffebar: You do not have to worry about service charge or GST! Black & White caffebar also have special lunch sets at $10 where you get to enjoy a Panini, with a cup of coffee/tea plus whatever dessert’s on the shelf.
