I was here with my friend the other day because of their 1 for 1 lunch. We were expecting the food here to be pretty decent.Rib eye with black pepper sauce and potato.
This is my friend's dish and nothing is fantastic about it. the potato is a bit too hard to his liking too. The sauce can be more rich in taste.Was so disappointed with this dish. the spaghetti sauce was quite tasteless. i could not even finish it.

Overall, i will not be returning to TCC for their mains, will only be here for desserts.

I was shopping at Bugis Plus and wanted to have a quick dinner before continue shopping. Came to This C-Jade HK cafe as there is no queue haha. We ordered "yuan yang" (tea plus coffee) and it came in such a cute bottle! when it came the dry ice was filled in between the hole in the middle, looks really cool but i didn't manage to capture that.
The yuan yang is good, not too thick nor thin. Also, it isn't too sweet.My main dish was a big disappointment. The sauce taste bad and the fish were soggy. Ordered this as I was craving for some spaghetti but this was really awful. I did not even finished it.

Chance upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try.La Mian with Chicken Chop: As the restaurant name "noodle star" suggest, i thought the noodle will be very nice. However, the noodle is not chewy, very average and the sauce of it is not tasty at all.. we were quite disappointed. The chicken chop on the other hand is much better. I like the skin, very crispy. Overall, I will not be back for the la mian.

It was my first time at Jem and i decided to try smth that i never had before. So we came to Shin Kushiya for some japanese food. From the menu, the food looks good!Gyu and vegetable platter (SGD$18.40++)
This dish consists of beef skewers, gyu karubi, gyu aspara maki, gyu tomato maki, gyu enoki maki and shiitake mushroom. Surprisingly, the mushroom taste the best. The beef was too hard and difficult to chew on. Others were very average. nothing to be fantastic about. Overall, this dish isn't worth the moneyFlamed Salmon Sashimi Maki (SGD $15.60++) there are 2 types of toppings for this dish - Ikura / spicy mayonnaise and bonito flakes / mayonnaise. Personally i prefer the spicy mayonnaise but both taste good! only this dish that we ordered is valued for money.Chicken Katsu Curry Don (SGD$15.80++) was a major disappointment and it is even a chef recommendation. The chicken is hard, and the Japanese curry is one of the most tasteless curry that i have ever had. for this dish i will give a 1/5 star rating.

The total bill came up to be around $60 and we conclude that the quality of the food is not value for money.

Was feeling hungry even after lunch at far east plaza so I went to the basement and check out what nice finger food they have. Bought hongkong egglet as i never tried before. They had different flavors such as chocolate, cheese and pizza. Not knowing which flavour taste the best, i ordered original flavor instead. To my disappointment the egglet are not nice at all. very plain in taste. I didnt finish it. Maybe next time i will order the chocolate flavored egglet and see if it tastes better.
