Tajimaya Yakiniku has a good variety of Japanese beef, pork cuts as well as seafood drizzled with their self-concocted sauce that adds a punch of flavour to the meats. I will recommend the Kurobuta Pork Jowl as well as the Kurobuta Pork Belly. The fats from the pork belly made it even more tender and flavorful. The pork here is also very tender and mouth-watering.
I tried the rojak at Apa Kitchen at Marina Square Foodcourt recently and I was really impressed with it. The ingredients that they use at Apa Kitchen are really very fresh and they even added fruits like mango into the rojak to make it even more refreshing. On top of this, Marina Square food court has the best view and I really love the view at the foodcourt as you can view and see the entire Marina bay
I had a Roti John at Spize cafe and that makes me want to go for a second round! The roti john looks like the size of a titanic and upon biting into it, the cheese and mushrooms will ooze out and melt in your mouth. The decor of the place at Spize Cafe also is decorated with a nice fusion. The mutton blends in perfectly with the cheese. Thumbs up to Spize Cafe for the good food!
This Golden Roaster branch at Clementi central was really outstanding as compared to other franchise branches around. I had tried the Grilled Chicken Chop at this outlet. Their gravy was totally different from the rest of the branches, it was savory and you can even drink as a soup. The Chicken meat was grilled such that the skin was crispy and the meat was juicy.
This claypot rice at New Lucky Claypot is so fragrant with the charcoal cooked rice and chicken with chinese sausages. The black sauce accentuates the taste of this fragrant local dish and lifted my spirits anytime I eat it. Too bad that it is close for renovation now but I will definitely go back to eat the claypot rice again when the stall re-opens.
