I'm sure they use 100% real ingredients here... They must have blended a lot of mushrooms to come up with this. It feels almost like eating mushroom rather than drinking mushroom soup! Haha..

It was good but it was too thick for me to drink a lot, but my bf liked and he finished it. And hor, drink the soup while it is still hot, coz it wont be nice if the soup is cold and lumpy ( coz thick mah). Chicken Rossa

This was a simple pasta with mushroom, chicken and cheese... But, it was so YUMMY! The chef was generous with the ingredients, lotza chicken and mushroom to go with the penne in every spoonful.Double Chocolate Cake

This is a MUST-TRY! "Awfully chocolate" ( erm, dun think there is copy right for using this term right? =p) and absolutely sinful!

The chocolate cake is warm & moist, the chocolate sauce is thick & dark, and the icecream is sweet & milky. They complement each other perfectly! ^_^

Cold Stone Creamery is definitely one of the top few ice-cream franchise that I always frequent.

We can choose from the signature creations or mix & match yourself! To save the trouble, we usually ordered the in-house creations.

The signature creations are priced at $5.50 for 4 oz (smallest size), and $1 top-up for the waffle bowl. Banana Caramel Crunch

I tried both Banana Caramel Crunch & Coffee Lovers, both I like! So my conclusion is, any creations with roasted almonds & caramel must be good.

Cheesecake Fantasy was a tad sour for my liking, so I polly will give cheesecake icecream a miss next time... erm, forever. Keke

Germanchökolätekäke was okay, but lacked the crunchiness from roasted almonds, but still a hit for chocolate lovers.

Waffle with Cheesecake Icecream (ice cream of your choice) - $8.50

We just had a heavy dinner so anything else was plain 'jerlat' to us, but the waffle with ice cream was such delightful that we ended up polishing off everything on the plate. Particularly liked the unique cheesecake icecream flavour compared to the rest of the flavours, which includes vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel etc. Overall, this is one of the rare places that offers good waffle (in my opinion)!

Although food were limited to mini pizza, sandwiches, puffs and cakes, they were definitely filling enough. Even my husband had his fill, and we cant stomach any dinner after this. That's the great part of hi-tea ~ settle your lunch and dinner in a meal! All the above for just $25++!

The not so good part is that this Vintage high tea is only available on Thursday and Friday, 3pm - 530pm. No problem for those still schooling ( it's okay to skip a lecture or two ma.. =p) but those working, probably can only do "pretend tai tai life" with the "sacrifice" of a half day leave. LOL

There are quite a number of 小吃 that are being brought over from Taiwan, but when you compare the ones in Taiwan and what's offered here, somehow it will just taste not as good or authentic.

However, BlackBall is probably one of the few Taiwan brand or food that I feel that it almost taste as good as the dessert that I had in Taiwan. I always ordered their Blackball Signature that comes in almost everything you can think of - melted glass jelly, taro balls, sweet potato balls, red bean and pearls. I'm super addicted to its sweet potato balls and taro balls which are super chewy and just nice to exercise your jaws without killing them.

What's more, it is served hot or cold, depending on your own preference. It also comes with a small milk capsule which you can choose to drizzle onto the glass jelly for the extra sweetness. Highly recommended to try!
