We just had a heavy dinner so anything else was plain 'jerlat' to us, but the waffle with ice cream was such delightful that we ended up polishing off everything on the plate. Particularly liked the unique cheesecake icecream flavour compared to the rest of the flavours, which includes vanilla, chocolate, salted caramel etc. Overall, this is one of the rare places that offers good waffle (in my opinion)!

Came here for dinner after work. We ordered 1 pasta and soup to share as we also wanted to try their cupcakes. To our pleasure surprise, the waiter offered to splitthe portion for us. Well, that was the first time I came across such service! Impressive, definitely etched in my memory. And the portion was decent, after splitting it into two, which meant it was generous to begin with. =)Field Mushroom Soup with Truffled croutons - $10

My half portion of the soup, looks pretty okay rite? And they also made sure that we each had a small slice of bread. LOL

This soup will most likely appeal to people who like truffle, coz it was pretty obvious. Seared Scallop Linguini with Tiger Prawn bisque - $24 Proof of 2 portions! Hehe

The pasta was served in a soupy style, just like our Chinese prawn soup noodle. In fact, the soup tasted like one too. Probably not your choice if you prefer thicker sauce base for your pasta.William - $4.50

Chocolate cake with william pear and vanilla with butter cream frosting

Ok, let's "dissect" this cake. First of all, the vanilla with butter cream frosting was terribly sweet. I have a pretty high threshold for sweetness but this was simply too sweet, for goodness sake. Even eating sugar cube itself taste much better. Guess what we did? Scrapped off the frosting lor..

What left behind now was simply just ordinary (sweet) chocolate cupcake and the location of the william pear was a mystery. Bananarama - $4.50

Banana walnut cake with caramel cream cheese

I think the cream cheese tasted much better than the cream frosting, sweet but manageable. I like the part they added nuts in the cupcake which gave a more flavorful & crunchy texture.

There is a choice of Claypot Wu Wei Rice, Claypot Chinese Sausage Rice and Claypot Chicken Rice. As recommended by the stall owner, we chosen the Claypot Wu Wei Rice, essentially an assortment of chicken, chinese sausage, mushroom and salted fish.

For $10 (size for 2 pax), we got a reasonable portion of at least 2 - 3 servings per pax. The chicken was rather tender & meaty and the rice was fragrant, cant helped but continued with the next serving. Keke

I dun really know any good claypot rice places (tell me if you do ^_^), but I thought this is pretty good to warrant the next visit!

I came to know of this cute pancake place in one of the magazines, probably Iweekly. And if you are thinking, it's just another dessert place then you are wrong! They serve savories pancakes as well, and who says that we cannot take pancake to replace your normal mains?Spicy Chicken Midwings

We ordered the BFF Special which consists of 2 pancakes, 2 drinks and a side. For the side, we ordered the chicken wings, which were crispy and finger licking good. And hor, not spicy at all! Good for us! hahaBreakfast Mambo Combo

This really looked like big breakfast with bacon, picnic ham, sausages and poached eggs, pretty standard. The pancakes were fluffy alright. Dun really like the eggs coz got hollandarise sauce, may appeal to other but not us coz we are no fan of egg benedict lah. Mushroom & Tiger Prawns

Who will imagine that pancake can pair with savories? The tiger prawns were big and succulent and the portobello mushroom was juicy with 'char da' cheese sprinkled on top.Thumbs up for this.

All these for just $39, no separate GST or service charge! Really worth it!

It sells all sorts of pretty food from cakes, sandwiches to all day brunch. Pardon me, it was really an impromptu visit and I promise to do the food "justice" by visiting it again with a proper camera. =p

It's probably confusing at your first visit, at least for me. We stood at the entrance for a good few minutes, waiting to be served but who knows, it is a free seating and self ordering concept cafe. So just go in, find yourself a seat and then go to the counter to make your order and pay at the cashier.

As we just had dinner, we ordered a cake (On-My Baby Crepe $8) and a pudding (Chocolate - $4.50) to share. Yup, the pudding was served in a milk bottle alike container, cute right?

The cake was pretty interesting with layers of crepe, strawberries, sponge cake and cream. But I must say, the cakes are rather expensive, $7.50 is the cheapest? Not your daily bakery to go, I guess....

On the other hand, the pudding was simply divine, must try! ^_^ The texture was almost like eating flavored cream. I started off eating the chocolate part, before I moved on to the original. Both were good on its own. As I dipped the spoon deeper, to my delight, there was brown sugar/caramel at the bottom, which gave a very nice caramelized taste. With every spoonful, there were different "surprise". =)

The royal pudding seems to be the popular item here! I saw most of the diners ordered this.


Anyway, I liked it so much that I bought 3 more bottles home. Among the three, I liked the chocolate best, followed by mango and original flavour.
