Heard of the nice steamboat at JPot, decided to head down for dinner. JPot has quite a good variety of steamboat soup base and food items to choose from. I had the JPot superior soup, it tastes like chicken broth, quite fragrant though a little bland. For diners who prefer stronger tasting soup base, I would suggest bak kut teh, herbal or tomyum soup base. We ordered quite a number of food items, the most yummy would be the beef short rib. It's like shabu shabu kind of thinly sliced beef, very tender and doesn't take long to cook. The beef also added taste to the soup, making it even more delicious. The chicken was not bad too, quite soft and tender. We had the kurobuta pork with asparagus as well, but I feel that the pork taste was quite strong even though I cooked the pork for quite long. Didn't really like it. Overall was an okay dining experience!
