Italia Eggs Benedict Solo

Italia Eggs Benedict Solo

After tasting the affordable brunch from Eggs & Berries for breakfast previously, I decided to bring a friend to try their dinner. However, to my disappointment, the food was not so good. We ordered the Genie omelette, and the Italia Eggs Benedict to share. The Genie omelette allowed us to choose 3 ingredients to have inside. We decided on chicken, emmentel cheese, and mushrooms. Sadly the chicken tasted kinda weird. As for the Italia Eggs Benedict Solo, we chose it as it was unique to have eggs benny with parma ham. However, to our disappointment, the parma ham was of a low-grade, and the combination was not too great. Also the hash, which I loved from my last visit, was slightly burnt and hard sad Guess while they are affordable, not everything is great there, and their quality of food varies from time to time.

Visited Kenny Rogers for dinner on a weekend, wasn't too crowded when we reached about 6pm. We were served with complimentary muffins when we sat down, the muffins smelt good and were delicious. There were dried corns in the muffins, which gave it a more aromatic taste. We ordered the half chicken to share, with steamed vegetables and potato salad as our side dishes. The chicken looked very appetizing and was very delicious! It's soft and tender, and the breast meat wasn't too dry. Liked the chicken alot. The steam vegetables was cooked well, the carrots were not too hard. Potato salad was good too, very yummy. Was a great dinner!

Korean food at Doong Ji Smile Oct 28, 2013

Categories : Korean | Live Sports Broadcast

After trying sundubu chigae from the many korean restaurants in Singapore, this restaurant has one of the most authentic silken tofu soup. Diners can choose between pork or seafood. There was a lot of ingredients in the soup, it was filled with sotong, prawns, clams and of course, silken tofu. It's quite a spicy dish though, not suitable for those who can't take spicy food. I also had the spicy chicken, which wasn't awesome. The chicken was a little dry and hard, but nevertheless, the quite authentic korean spiciness made up for it. I would try the pork instead the next time. Similar to all korean restaurants, they serve some side dishes before the start of the meal. The side dishes were great, especially the kimchi and the steamed egg. The staff were very polite and helped us to a second round of side dishes when we requested. One thing to note would be the crowd during meal hours. I would recommend reserving before visiting the restaurant. lol

I'm a fries lover, and I think that the fries at Everything with Fries are great! The fries come in different forms, thick or thin and I prefer the thick fries as it has a more "potato taste". I decided to try something different though and chose the shoe string fries with sour cream and onion. It has the familiar sour cream and onion taste like those in potato chips. I like it very much, but it's still second to the favourite curry fries. The fries came with the cheese burger that I ordered. The beef patty in the burger is soft and tastes wonderful when accompanied with the melted cheese and the soft bun. The side salad has a little parmesan cheese sprinkled on top, and tastes wonderful too. enjoyed dinner here!

Went there for a weekend dinner, was relatively easy to find a place. I ordered the Linguine Pesto with Chicken. The food didn't look that appetizing, but it smelt really good. There was a generous amount of chicken and tomatoes. It was not too bad, quite yummy but I felt there was a little too much pesto sauce added. However, it wasn't too oily. Overall not fantastic but not bad. I had the ice chocolate, which I didn't really like. The drink doesn't have the chocolatey taste, some chocolate sauce was added to give it the artificial taste. Not the place for chocolate drinks. The coffee was good though, especially the coffee art. It's aromatic too, and tastes good. Good chill out place for those staying in the east too! lol
