green tea macchiato Smile Oct 02, 2013

I had a large cup of green tea macchiato for $3.50, less ice and 25% sugar level. This drink came with no pearls by default (just as good because the amount of pearls they gave is crazy and I don't really like koi pearls as they can be quite soggy). I really love this drink instead of their usual milk tea where the tea taste can't really be tasted. The green tea taste is distinct, so is the macchiato. 25% sugar level is sweet enough and does not mask the fragrance of the green tea taste. It is also not expensive at $3.50 since the large cup is quite large.

Laksa goreng Smile Dec 26, 2013   (Related Review)

This plate of delicious and filling laksa goreng costs $8.50 a plate - which is worth the money! There's a hint of sweetness and spiciness and it is also rich in the laksa flavour. The prawns are shelled and fresh. This is definitely one of the best dishes at Laksania!

Satisfying lunch Smile Oct 10, 2013

char siew pork noodles $3
The noodles were springy but taste was not quite right there. The char siew's portion was good and eating it with the green chopped chilli made it more tasty as it gave it extra flavour even though it was not spicy.

duck rice $3
There were lots of duck meat in it, totally worth the price of $3! The duck sauce was sweet and drizzled all over the rice. Yummy!

xi yang cai tang (soup) $2.50
the soup comes with some pork bones in it. At $2.50, I'd say it is a really good price!

french toast Smile Oct 02, 2013

I am guessing that this is an item that was launched not long ago as it is not on their official menu. The french toast (with ham and cheese sandwiched between and "glued" together with the egg) only costs $3.50. Even with takeaway, they also provide a plastic fork and spoon with a separate kaya dip. Their kaya dip is a bit sweet and is a sweet spread to the savoury toast.

It is worth it to try this and it is not expensive too smile

Love it Smile Dec 13, 2013

Yakun set 1 coffee 2 pc of toasted bread kaya with a slice of butter and half boiled egg at $4.60.
I love to patronise this stall for their high standard of serving good toast and coffee except that the price kept increasing. Coffee has now gone up to 1.60 for a small cup. The toast was crisp and there were crumbs with every bite. The egg was done very nicely at right temperature and tasted good.
