Laksa goreng Smile Dec 26, 2013   (Related Review)

This plate of delicious and filling laksa goreng costs $8.50 a plate - which is worth the money! There's a hint of sweetness and spiciness and it is also rich in the laksa flavour. The prawns are shelled and fresh. This is definitely one of the best dishes at Laksania!

Laksa  Smile Dec 26, 2013

The laksa here is delicious although not the best. It is one of the best laksas I have eaten in food courts. The gravy is rich in the laksa flavour and the ingredients are fresh. At $5 a bowl, it may be above the average price but well worth the money. The noodles are also very smooth and the tau pok soaks up the laksa gravy well.

Duck porridge Cry Dec 26, 2013

Duck porridge $3.
This bowl of duck porridge has quite a lot of duck gravy drizzled over it and mixed in together. I find that the gravy is too salty and thus ruins the whole bowl of porridge since it has already been mixed in. It also makes the porridge too watery. The duck meat is also quite fatty which will not appeal to the health-conscious.

Oyster Omelet Smile Dec 26, 2013

Oyster Omelet $4. This is a popular local dish that uses egg and oyster. They are fried together in the wok freshly on the spot. Even though it lacks the wok hei, it has a good taste and is very rich in flavours. This is a very unhealthy dish but it is worth indulging in once in a while!

Bulgogi chicken Smile Dec 26, 2013

For this set, there's bulgogi chicken or pork to choose from and it costs only $3.80! This was served in a hot pot and there was lots of soup (or gravy) in it where I drizzled on my rice which was quite dry. There was also tang hoon in it which had well absorbed the gravy. The chicken was thinly sliced and went well with the rice too. It was also a filling meal!
