xiao long bao
if you love xiao long baos, you can get the ones (10 in total for $9.50) otherwise you can get the smaller sized portion (6). this is one of the best xiao long baos i have ever tried. the skin was so sturdy even though it was't thick and the broth was really tasty too.

appetizer: beef slices $6.80. the beef was thinly sliced but tender. this dish was served cold.

Sliced Duck in Crispy Spring Onion Pastry was a little oily but so darn good and aromatic! the sliced duck's a bonus in this dish!

xiao long bao $4.80
These buns were filled with piping hot broth and succulent meat fillings. However, I feel that Ding Tai Fung's version beats this still.

tofu with seafood paste $4.80
The tofu was soft and delicate but the seafood paste was mediocre.

wanton with chilli oil $5.80
I will order this again! The chilli oil appeared oily but did not feel oily in the mouth. It wasn't really spicy but was fragrant.

chee cheong fun with scallop $5.80
The chee cheong fun was smooth but scallop was very thinly sliced which wasn't well worth the price.

Recommended Dish(es):  Wanton with chilli oil

pork buns $4.50
The buns are served piping hot but the char siew fillings although they are good, are quite sweet.

fried beancurd $5.50
the skin is really crispy and the fillings are hot and moist. A heavenly match!

prawn dumplings $5.50
large fresh prawns wrapped in a thin layer of crystal skin.. this is definitely one of the best har gows i have tasted.

XXL Crispy chicken  OK Dec 22, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese

They are currently having a promotion where you purchase 2 food items and you will get a can of soft drink for free. I got the XXL crispy chicken ($4.20) and the mee sua. The crispy chicken was slightly tough but still tender. It will taste nicer if it was more tender. The batter was crispy and there was lots of seasoning (chilli etc) that made the chicken tasty. You must eat it when it's hot else it won't taste good. One chicken may be too much for a person to finish it as the taste can be too overwhelming.

Dark Chocolate Cake $3
the size of the cake is just nice for one person so it will not be overwhelming on the tastebuds. It is quite sweet but still acceptable. The chocolate is also quite rich in flavour.

salmon roll $2.90
This is served chilled but I love the combination of the smoked salmon and the wrao. It tastes quite healthy too.

members get free coffee or tea.
