At $2.50, the portion was just appropriate for a meal. There were not much ingredients which justified the cheaper than average price of $2.50. The lor mee here lacked a wokhei fragrance but the texture of the noodles was quite smooth. The gravy could have been more flavourful.
Spaghetti aglio olio with broccoli, black mussels and prawns $24.10. The spaghetti was surprisingly good! All the ingredients were very fresh too. The tiger prawns were big, fresh and yummy. There was a bit of chopped chilli padi so it was slightly spicy. The serving plate was quite unique too. The pasta here is worth a visit!
The porridge here is quite tasty and flavourful. A big bowl of porridge costs just $3 and they are also generous with the chicken meat which is quite tender and soft. The chicken has no fats or skin so it will appeal to the health-conscious. The porridge is not watery too and has just the right texture.
The slightly oily chicken had a smooth texture and meat was quite tender. The grainy rice, although a little oily, went so well with the tender chicken! The rice was very fragrant as well. The portion was just right, not too much nor little. Price is $3.
Laksa $4.30. I'm not sure if the standard of their laksa had gone downhill or because it was just the different cook. The laksa was too rich in flavour which made me a little scared as the taste lingered on my tastebuds for quite some time. It was spicy but there was something that was just lacking. There were many ingredients in it but the taste of the laksa seemed a little off.
