i was trying to settle my lunch so i decided on a quick fix - the teriyaki chicken sandwich which costs $3.80 at mr bean. the bread was quite soggy. the teriyaki chicken was tender but the layer of chicken skin and fats really grossed me out and i had disect my sandwich to manually peel the prominent layer of fats off. other than that, it tasted average and was quite expensive. i would rather get subway over this.

was there on recently on a sunday evening and at 6+, there were not much people.

Here are some dishes that I had:teriyaki beef steak $8.90 - the beef was juicy but was a tad tough. It was served medium by default as it was pink in the centre. This tasted average.sakura ebi kakiage $4.90 - portion was quite big but I did not like this as the ebi and sauce were salty. The fried tempura vegetables tasted average too.enoki bacon $5.50 - the mushrooms in it were really moist and this was not very oily. The bacon was quite lean too so the combination was to my liking.

onion soup ($5.80 ala carte). There was beef taste in it and the taste was quite rich. The onions were very soft. For their coffee, the presentation was neat and sugar was served separately at the side but the coffee itself was already sweet so there was no need to add in extra. It was also fragrant. The oxtail pasta (lunch promo) was on the dry side and it tasted average only which was a disappointment.

Laksa (around $4.20) - The taupoks were quite big but a bit rough. There was a hard boiled egg in it and some fishcakes too. The bee hoon was quite smooth and went well with the laksa gravy which had enough coconut taste in it although it was a bit oily. It was not spicy enough. Overall, this laksa is around 2.6-2.9 rating.

Glutinous Rice Balls with peanut soup $2.80 for 3 pieces - The glutinous rice balls were chewy and filled with peanut fillings. The peanut fillings were finely chopped. The peanut soup were a bit bland though but the rice balls made up for it although it was quite sweet but lacked the peanut flavour.
