Omurice Smile Dec 31, 2013

This set costs 13.90 and there's omelette with rice and chicken, gyoza and soup. The sauce that's drizzled on top of the omelette rice tasted like abalone sauce and the rice was moist within too while the egg tasted just nice. The gyoza was juicy within and the pork fillings were just right, not under nor over loaded. It did not taste salty too and the skin was not too thick. At such a price, this is worth a visit.

Jap meal Smile Dec 31, 2013

Kimchi chicken hot pot 16.99. The soup base was well flavoured with kimchi and there were tender chicken, soft cabbages, tofu etc in it which were quite nice.
Katsuo Sashimi 6.29. I've never tried this before so I decided to try it. The fishy taste was stronger and more distinct. This is something different from the usual sashimi.
Soft shell crab hand roll $2.29 - the seaweed was crispy and the soft shell crab was not soggy nor oily smile

Seafood baked pasta  Smile Dec 31, 2013   (Related Review)

Seafood baked pasta $10+. The seafood consists of prawns, mussels and there's mushrooms too. The cheese taste was distinct but not overpowering on the tastebuds. The portion was quite filling. The biscuit-like bread served at the side was crispy and delicious too. If you have tried marche before and you love it, you should try out Marche Bar & Bistro as their food items are rather good too.

Recommended!

Some of the food items that I had tried:

Seafood chowder $6. The prawn was fresh and the texture of the chowder was smooth and creamy, best to be shared as it might be too overwhelming for a person. The bread turned a little soggy after a while but it was understandable.

Sweet bacon roll $3.60 - this roll was really sweet and the bacon did not taste salty nor fatty at all!

Earl Grey cake $6.50 - the earl grey flavour was quite subtle but the cake was light at the spongey area.

Queue was super long even though it was off peak hours.

Dumpling noodles  Cry Dec 31, 2013

I had a bowl of dumpling soup and mee pok noodles for $4.30 which was slightly expensive. The dumpling skins seemed quite floury and the meat fillings in it had a very strong taste which was not to my liking. The mee pok noodles also tasted floury and lacked the fragrance. The soup was very ordinary-tasting too. I won't recommend you to get this.
