Xi Yan @ Shaw Center is a casual restaurant with happiness ambience. Some dishes they serve are simple but they transformed them with a unique twist. There are also dishes they serve are very creative and exotic but are very intriguingly delicious and beautiful. The restaurant excels so well in their taste and presentation. I will definitely be back!~

We have tried the following:
- Hotate Mentaiko
- Wasabi Prawn
- Ikayaki (BBQ Squid)
- Piggy Back (Oven Baked Ribs)
- Perfect Wagyu Beef Burger
- Cubed Rib Eye
- Hiyashi Chukka (Chilled Ramen)
- Lemon Meringue Cake
- Cocktails
The dishes were delicious especially Piggy Back, Perfect Wagyu Beef Burger, Hotate Mentai and Hiyashi Chukka. The ingredients were very fresh. The wagyu beef burger was so juicily tender. This place is indeed an hidden gem in Tanglin. If you patronise them, you get to park your car for free too. It is great for romantic dates or family or friends gatherings. Especially you want something more unique than the typical restaurants. You will be in for a journey of inspiration from all the wonderful art pieces. I will certainly be back again.

We have ordered the following dishes to share:
- Har Kau Prawn Dumplings
- Siew Mai Pork Dumplings
- Rice Rolls (Cheong Fun) with Scallops
- Porridge with Pork & Century Egg
- Braised Fish Maw with Prawn Paste
- Pan-Fried Carrot Cake
- Baked Crispy Milk Encrusted Char Siew Bun
- Custard Bun (Liu Sha Bao)
- Chicken with Glutinous Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf
The meal cost us about (~S$69). It was about S$23 per pax. We had 3 adults. The dim sum dishes were delicious especially the Braised Fish Maw with Prawn Paste, Baked Crispy Milk Encrusted Char Siew Bun, and Custard Bun (Liu Sha Bao). The ingredients are very fresh. The prawns used were fresh and crunchy. The place is not very accessible. You will need to either drive or take cab there. It is great for family or friends gatherings. I will certainly be back again.
