Had my very first visit back in Hong Kong at Stanley Bay and the good impression I had was of their good service and nice ambience. Drinks were not bad at least better than the too-commercialized Starbucks.

Was surprised to see one outlet here in Singapore Suntec City. It is quite a small open area near the Fountain of Wealth with very nice comfy cushion seats. There are several power points around which would make it a good place to carry out work with a laptop. A nice reading place too on their comfy seats

Ordered a Matcha Latte and a Mocha Brownie ice-blended drink. The Matcha Latte was smooth with ample richness of Matcha taste in it. The ice-blended drink also tasted not bad except that it was too sweet for me, would be better if I had ordered it less sweet.

Overall, Pacific Coffee has met my expectations as a place to grab a cuppa and read a book or chit chat. Hope the other espresso-based drinks would be good, gonna give it a try during the next visit

The pasta at CBTL is good enough for me although they are of course not superb. They are good to fill one's stomach as the portion is quite big. As there is an outlet near NUS where I am schooling at, I often frequent the place and thus have actually tried all of the pasta on the menu haha

Out of all, the recommended ones are the chicken n' mushroom, salmon n' cream as well as the beef lasagne. I don't fancy much the other choices. The first two are cream-based and are not too creamy. But I often cannot finish everything by myself as the portion was too large.The lunch or dinner sets would be worthwhile if you want to top it up with any of their drinks.

Generally the pastas are not too bad for a simple unpretentious meal
For something lighter, go for the Chic Mayo Sandwich with wholewheat bread

There have been quite a number of ShengKee outlets popping up across the island. I think one can easily spot one of its outlets in any of the major shopping malls. The food choices here are not plentiful but its price is considerably affordable.

Out of most of their noodle or rice items which I had tried so far, my highly recommended one would be the Minced Pork Hor Fun. Simple yet flavorful with its minced pork gravy with mushroom, the chili condiments provided added additional twist to the noodles. The chilli was really good, fragrant and not too spicy. Now I don't bother trying other items at all haha The set meal comes with a dessert and side dish of either yam cake or carrot cake by just paying a minimal top up charges. Again I enjoyed eating the yam cake with the chilli together. On the other hand, the Mango Pomelo Sago desserts was just ordinary. Other desserts options include Sesame Paste, Red bean Soup or Almond Paste which I find them all too sweet. One of the signature items is the Mango Roll. It was nothing fantastic. The skin was slightly too thick while the mango chunk was a tad sourish Overall, I would consider this as a simple yet satisfying meal. I love their chilli and I cannot do without it if I were to eat at ShengKee.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this restaurant offers a wide variety of good sushi. Some of the sushi choices are quite special with interesting combinations. I was expecting the pice to be fairly exorbitant considering its location but I think it is still reasonable, just slightly above average.

We ordered five types of different sushi such as Soba Roll and the Aburi Salmon Belly ($11 I think) sushi. The size of each piece of sushi was relatively big with generous filling. The quality was really good too. None failed to meet my expectations. I felt satisfied and full already after eating just six pieces of sushi.The Soba Roll was something new, whereby soba noodles were rolled up with seaweed and served chilled. They served complimentary a small bowl of porridge as appetizer beforehand and I think the taste was plain but yet palatable enough.Overall, I think this is a really good place for Japanese food. Go during noontime for their Bento sets as the dinner sets are too limited. Service was acceptable. I would definitely head back the restaurant for their other types of sushi.

This place is quite inaccessible via public transport, being located on a hilltop. But it is quite a good setting for a leisure brunch, seated at the alfresco area surrounded by the trees around the restaurant.
The food here is equally just as good! Had the Big Brekkie, consisting of poached eggs, bacon, German sausages, mushrooms, Focaccia toast, roasted tomato and potato. Nothing extraordinary but everything on my plate was palatable enough. Ordered the Blueberry pancakes too and ahhh was just as good, except the pancakes were not fluffy enough ><
Pricing is slightly steep, considering its out-of-the-place location. Service during my visit was so-so, perhaps due to the lack of staffing. But food is up to standard.
