There are plenty of TCC branches around island-wide indeed. Easily accessible and I would say their food has never failed to fulfill my expectations so far. Perhaps the only limiting factor could be their slightly steep pricing

Starting off with my starter firstly, I like their Kabocha Harvest Salad though I don't really take fried food often. But I like how the sweet breaded pumpkin patties are mixed in the tangy kumquat dressing. The breaded part was not too thick like some other croquettes with overwhelmingly thick breaded crumbs externally with little filling. I like pumpkin so this was simply appetizing already as my starter! ^^ Now, to my mains Had the Mentaiko Spaghetti w/ Salmon Tataki and Golden Enchilada Enchantment. The pasta was one of the chef's recommendations and it was a great choice indeed. The mentaiko gravy was not too creamy and the tender slices of salmon were not overly cooked and was just splendid to be accompanied with a perfect sunny side up on top ^^ For vegetarians, the latter could be quite a good choice but not really healthy haha.. But the golden-fried tortilla was quite crunchy, stuffed with wild mushrooms, spicy spinach and tofu and cheese. A good combination overall and it was not too oily. But of course the pasta beats it all for a meat-lover.Now desserts haha, quite a complete meal huh?
I simply love Affogato so I tried the two different renditions. The chocolate Affogato was perfect with its combination of espresso and chocolate ice cream but sadly being immersed with the espresso, my ice cream melted away fast enough>< As for the Bailey's Alluregatto, it would be perfect if you are finding for liquer and coffee at the same time Coffee jelly, ice cream and biscotti, heightened with Bailey’s Irish Cream; what's more you can ask haha? But sadly, again it melted too fast too.No idea why I would still have some room for more desserts. Haha as if not sinful enough, I had the Pinana Landing, which was a pineapple tart with oozing vanilla custard topped with fresh banana. But the ice cream was forgettable, after being overdosed from the Affogato LOL. Perfect hang out place, good food and great ambience facing the Sentosa! Just the place for a wholesome dinner! ^^

The bakery is famous for their chicken pies and curry puffs. One portion of chicken pie costs only $4.70 while one whole big one would cost $17.80. The filling is really generous with mashed potatoes, chicken bits, carrots and hard-boiled eggs. It is reasonably priced and so the pies are often selling like hot cakes. The bakery sells cakes too, tried their carrot cake. It was not too bad, just a tad too sweet for me but you cannot complain much when the pricing is cheap.I always get my chicken pies from this place. Generous filling, affordable price, pastry is flaky but not too buttery. If you are around at Sunset Way, don't forget to drop by this place and try it out!!

One would hardly thought of actually coming across this cafe popping up among all the medical treatment centers, hidden high above on the 8th-storey in Novena Medical Center. I only got to know about the place through the word of mouth.

It is a small quaint cafe with limited indoor seatings but there are alfresco seatings with a small garden view. I love the quietness of the place, very suitable for reading or small group chat. Decorations are simple with brick wall and wooden solid furniture, giving off a cosy laid-back atmosphere.Had a Grande Breakfast with poached eggs ($14) and a Tostino E Arrosto ($11) accompanied with coffee. Well coffee was really good and priced reasonably. I could see that the owner has passion over coffee and apparently the place is the sole distributor of Cafe Agust Beans, a FairTrade 100% Arabica Beans. Food was up to standard too. But I would have preferred if the sourdough bread were not that tiny in size, it barely sized up to the size of a usual slice. The Tostino E Arrosto was better in fact and great for those who like chicken breast meat like me haha I would definitely return to this place especially if I want a quiet place for reading or something. Great coffee and oh yeah service was good too. The owner of the place (I suppose) was really observant and thoughtful to the needs of his customers. What a great hidden find!

The place is spacious with comfy seats. Service is good. Food, most importantly, is great too! hmm but some food items are a bit pricey actually ><

Ordered the Unagi and the Beef steamed rice set and the Hamburger Steak set for our mains. The steamed rice, known as Kamameshi, is one of the signature items. There was an hourglass served together whereby one should only start eating after all the sand flowed downwards. Not only did my Kamameshi look appealing, it tasted great too! It is steamed so a great choice for the health conscious. I simply love my Unagi while the Beef was equally great too! Haha one might really have some dilemma choosing between the two when ordering. On the other hand, I nipped a bit of my friend's hamburger set, it was flavorful but the meat was a tad too dry.I highly recommend the black sesame goma pudding as the sesame taste was really rich with a soft tofu-like base. I am a fan of black sesame and so it really appeals to me. I am a huge matcha fan too so haha I could not leave the place without trying the green tea tofu cheesecake! Hmm well it was not too bad but I would prefer if the matcha taste could be stronger.In conclusion, food is good but slightly pricey but you won't go wrong if you order their signature Kamameshi and my favourite Goma pudding lol ^^

As the name of the restaurant suggests, its specialty is none other than Matcha ^^ Among all the places I have tried which serve Matcha beverages, I find that Maccha House has indeed the best rendition. I like that the Matcha taste is rich and strong while the drinks are not overly sweetened. Then only one can savour the bitter sweetness of Matcha

I always have the Matcha Latte with Matcha ice cream. The soft serve vanilla Ice cream is not too sweet, adding on to a perfect completion of bitter sweetness. Just the very drink one needs for refreshing syiokness

The dining area is very spacious and would be a very good option for group dining or just desserts while chit-chatting
