An interesting concept of coffee shop with a fusion of French Food, burgers, beer and ordinary Chinese hawker food fare like Minced Meat Noodle. Food pricing is generally affordable except for a few food items.

Ordered The Duck Leg Confit ($14.50) and the Crispy Pork Belly with sauerkraut (the daily's special of that day). I had the former as I don't take food too high in fats. But I took a nip of it minus the skin but even just the meat itself only was like as if smoldered with oil. The Duck Leg Confit was nicely done with crispy skin layer complemented by a smooth mashed potato base.

My friend tried the Kangaroo Burger ($18) from the other stall. It was quite good with nicely done burger patty which had ample juiciness in it.

In conclusion, the place is a good choice to cater for different taste buds.

A new venture under Cedele, with interesting varieties at a more atas price though ><

I was initially wary to go and try considering the mixed positive and negative reviews. Therefore when there was a 1-1 promotion for some of the mains, I decided to give it a try then.

I have all along been a frequent customer of Cedele as I feel that the ingredients are fresh and the food choices are generally healthy and taste good too.

Ordered the Duck Berry Waffle and Aglio Olio Pasta. The waffle was not hot enough when it was served and thus turned cold almost instantly after I had the salad which came along with the main. The duck was tender surely and I enjoyed having it with the Berry sauce but it was altogether a very small portion minus the bones. I wonder if it would be the same during the non-promotional period. I would rate this as just acceptable rather than being the Chef's recommendation item. The pasta was alright, done al-dente and the fish was fresh and went well with the herbs sauce on top of it. But the sauce was scarce and so it was too dry halfway through eating it.

The burger, on the other hand, looked unappetizing and was below expectations. The patty was dry but at least it came with a side sauce to complement it. The chicken wrap had tender meat slices mixed with vegetables but was nothing fantastic.

Overall food quality was average but definitely not value-for-money if it were not for the promotion. Service here was terrible as we had to try so hard for a long while to catch the waiters' attention though there were only several customers. They were all mostly talking to each other with their backs facing the customers. Besides that, the service attitude was less than satisfactory, adding on to the unpleasantness of the overall dining experience. I would not be back to the restaurant again in the future. Quite a disappointing venture of Cedele.

Unforgettably Unpleasant Cry Dec 18, 2013

It was an unforgettable dining experience at O-An. It was too unpleasant to forget. I visited the place after buying a Groupon voucher for a meal there. And it was a nightmare.

It might sound exaggerated but truthfully I did feel so. The food was all below standard. The Sukiyaki was far too sweet while the Ramen was tasteless. Worst of all, it took altogether 2 hours for the food to arrive even though it was not really packed. There were some customers who left without bothering to wait on further for their food.

Food quality was bad, waiting time for food was horrendously long, service was slow. The place was seriously understaffed as the empty tables were mostly uncleared. In conclusion, the unpleasantness was just beyond description.

I am glad that I have finally paid the place a visit after hearing some rave reviews about it. Their signature item, Shiok Maki was a really syiok one. Awesome Japanese food and reasonably priced, located conveniently at town center, what more can one ask for? lol

The only downside would be the long waiting time during the meal peak hours. I waited almost 30 minutes on a Sunday noon time before finally getting a table for two.

Ordered their Ramen and it was only $8! Affordable and good, the broth was flavorful paired with springy noodles though the Tamago was slightly less than satisfactory ><

The Salmon skin was not bad but was just a tad less crunchy as I would hope for. It was served as large chunks of Salmon Skin rather than small bits that some other Jap places usually do. The Bento sets are only available during lunch time. Had the Grilled beef set which came along with rice, Miso Soup and Agedashi Tofu. The gravy was appetizing with generous portions of beef slices. However, I would prefer the beef to be more tender as I think it was slightly overcooked.

Sushi here are awesome especially their signature items. I would surely head on over to this restaurant again if I am craving for Japanese food. :chopsticlolk:

A great chill-out with Coffee Smile Dec 18, 2013

Had my very first visit back in Hong Kong at Stanley Bay and the good impression I had was of their good service and nice ambience. Drinks were not bad at least better than the too-commercialized Starbucks.

Was surprised to see one outlet here in Singapore Suntec City. It is quite a small open area near the Fountain of Wealth with very nice comfy cushion seats. There are several power points around which would make it a good place to carry out work with a laptop. A nice reading place too on their comfy seats lol

Ordered a Matcha Latte and a Mocha Brownie ice-blended drink. The Matcha Latte was smooth with ample richness of Matcha taste in it. The ice-blended drink also tasted not bad except that it was too sweet for me, would be better if I had ordered it less sweet.

Overall, Pacific Coffee has met my expectations as a place to grab a cuppa and read a book or chit chat. Hope the other espresso-based drinks would be good, gonna give it a try during the next visit smile
