Thanks OpenRice for the free S $28 coffeebean card. Had the salmon scramble egg with bread set.. came with free refill of tea or coffee. I prefer the iced fruity tea than the coffee. The salmon and scrambled egg with bread taste good, like the salmon and the bread is soft... the scrambled egg is nicely done. As for the country breakfast, I don't really like it. As the hash browns is not crisp, chicken sausage too hard, and bread is too dry n hard too.

Marinara is seafood tomato base pasta. the seafood don't taste very fresh. My favourite is still their spicy chicken pasta. The chilli is VERY spicy, and very shiok to eat it. I only eat their their tomato base pasta, as I tried before the creamy base pasta, and after finishing half a plate, I feel quite sick of it, because of the creamy base. Flat white, English Tea , choco italiano, banana dessert pizza, chicken bites, waffles fries etc. Their fried item taste ok, nothing fantastic about it, but at least it is hot and fresh.

Pontian wanton mee is my favourite wanton mee. What I like about their wanton mee is the mee (noodles) as it springy and it doesn't become soggy even I take away it. But the portion is too small, so sometimes, I would add noodles. There is ketchup, chilli, black sauce base for the mee. I always choose only chilli. I love their chilli as it is slight spicy and sweet. The cha siew is thinly sliced, hich I like as I don't like too thick cha siew. I always choose the soupy wanton, as I find the fried one too oily. Don't really the wanton as it is too small, and very little meat in it.

They dont seems to open in the early morning... instead they are open until evening. I like their yam cake, it is tasty, soft and hot..As for the chee cheong fun, they are very generous with the sauce. The sauce is not too sweet, just nice. And I always like to ask them to put more green spring onion which add nice fragrance to it too. They also sell varieties of rice dumpling, which have generous ingredients and reasonable price. They also sell $2 laksa, taste not bad, and is not easy to find $2 laska anymore.

All thanks to open rice hungry games, I gotten a free S$28 coffee bean card. I seldom patronise coffee bean as I prefer starbucks. Went to this outlet, is quite crowded but we managed to get a table for 2. Bugis has many people, so I think coffee bean should expand their business area at bugis.

Ordered the iced blended mocha large $7.60. It taste ok, but I definitely prefer starbucks, the one with java chip... coffee bean ice blended taste too milky to me.
