Overpriced. Low qualiry Cry Nov 19, 2013

So they depend on a series of rotating chefs to generate the menu. This month, it was chef Jeremy Nguee of preparazzi fame. I'll call a spade a spade- and say that $88 for a platter of pretty looking friend snacks is OVERCHARGING. We were effectively paying $18 for a matchbox sized piece of cheese. Or $18 for 3 small cubes of fish. I think I'm better off eating economic rice. I've had much better for like $20 less....
Won't be back!

Perfect Hidden Find Smile Nov 18, 2013

The crew knows much about coffee, specifically the drip kind (i think). While the coffee pales in comparison to Habitat, the food was just..delectable. I don't think I've ever tasted a more perfect lambshank. The matcha tiramisu is also in a class of its own. Most tiramisus come in a solid cake or a cup. This one arrives multi-layered, dripping in matcha goodness, with a strawberry on the top. Also, they change their menu once every so often. The lamb is now..lamb ossobucco. Yes ossobucco. In the heart of Serangoon Gardens - if this isn't a hidden find, I don't know what is.

This joint is neighbours with Daily Coffee (creamier coffee), and Stormville.
Our tip for having a really chill weekend? Drop doggy off for grooming at Stormville, grab a coffee at Daily coffee, take a walk, pick up doggy, then head over to Sun Ray for the set dinner.

We will be back! Smile Nov 17, 2013

We tried the truffle and egg one($21), and it was our second most favorite EVER - you could actually taste the truffle. Also, it was thin crust without a soggy middle (a mistake that plagues many otherwise great pizza places such as peperoni)

Pasta was also above average. Instead of mincing the meat, some meat chunks are used to give an additional dimension of flavor. Appetizer salad was great as well. Nice touch with the avocado and nuts.

Recommended Dish(es):  Tartufo pizza
