Stumbled upon this peranakan restaurant due to crowded waiting queues at other restaurant at vivo. Slow service and waiting time, food doesnt look appetising at first, fish head curry werent up to standard, all food portions were small, only the free flow of rice make up my have filled stomach. However their peranakan specialty : Nonya chap chye did brilliant, couldnt find else where that makes this zestful chap chye, if isnt for this dish i wouldnt come back for second serving

Avoid the drinks OK Dec 03, 2013

Categories : Malaysian

Try to avoid their drinks as it may be overpriced, replace their drinks with chendol instead. Avoid peak hours as mostly residents and office workers will flock to this cafe during lunch period. Their popiah and penang laksa is a must to try. Great furninishing bringing back the nostalgic feelings from the past. Do check out my blog for more reviews : manmademenu.blogspot.com

Ice cream in drinks OK Dec 03, 2013

Their drink can be quite expensive , however they really make delicious home made ice cream that is their plus point. Their croissant with ice cream cream is not really worth your cash however their bread are made fresh and it blends well together with their ice cream. Also, their vanilla ice cream in hot chocolate really lightens your taste buds, with bitter chocolate melting the vanilla icecream combining them both together really serves well. Worth the trysmile

Recommend you to try their chicken in garlic soy sauce which is currently what makes their whole chicken tasty, if you are a kimchi lover, you wouldnt want to try their kimchi fries because it doesnt bring out the taste of the kimchi in the fries. Do try their chicken chop and salad. One reminder. Do come early for seats as during peak hours the queue can stretch, service is efficient however too little seats available. After trying 4fingers i doubt you would want to go for KFC.
