If you're looking for buffet spread of local cuisine served from a Halal certified kitchen, this is for you. We had Citibank 1 for 1 promo so we decided to check out Tiffany. I was a little disappointed w the Seafood section, there were the Mussel, Sashimi & Prawns on that day. I was expecting more than these since it cost $50++ for a dinner buffet. I read some reviews there were chili crabs, but there weren't any. I feel the range of food selections needs to be extended. Sashimi is fresh and loving it!

The best of all in the buffet were the dessert portion, it offers a variety of cakes to choose from. If you're a Durian lover, you will be delighted to know that Tiffany serves one of the best Durian Pengat and I had numerous bowls! Their food tasted average and was nothing much worth remembering. Some tasted slightly above average, while others fell short of it. There were the local delight segment - Chicken rice w roasted chicken or duck. On the other side were the Dimsum (Custard Bun & Har Gao) & Kimchi noodles. Sadly, the noodles they call it were maggie mee D: It's not that Tiffany is bad but for the price I'm paying (Without 1 for 1 promo it's $52.80++), I would choose to dine elsewhere w more seafood selections & not just pure local cuisine.

I would recommend this for it's cosy ambiance and great place to chill. They have main courses as well but our visit was to mainly check out their desserts. Prices may be steeper here if you're comparing to other dessert cafes such as Wimbly Lu. Have been wanting to check out Vanilla Bar & Cafe for their highly raved Vanilla Dirt Cake which is served in a unique way, in a Flower Pot. We ordered the Vanilla Dirt Cake ($9.50) and being a Molten Chocolate Cake fanatic, it's a must try for me if it's ever on the menu and so we ordered! ($11.50).

The Vanilla Dirt Cake was such as innovative dessert that it's serve to you in a Flower Pot with 'dirt' on top which is actually Oreo Crumbs w layer of frozen vanilla ice cream & 2 jelly worms! Overall, it tasted average and similar to Mcflurry but I would prefer Macs. Unfortunately, the Molten Chocolate Cake was a major disappointment. It was completely baked inside thus there wasn't any chocolate flow. My expectation was high as the price is quite similar to Chili's and Chili's has one of the best Molten chocolate cake in Singapore. I've heard that their mains/ all-day breakfast were scrumptious, desserts maybe not for me over here. Overall, nice place to chill w free Wi-Fi (:

Café 2000 is popular for its Seafood and Barbeque Buffet Dinner served on Fridays and Saturdays, with a variety of grilled items and seafood, selections of barbeque items like scallop, tiger prawns, fish, steaks, chicken wings etc. There were a huge variety of seafood but the food tasted average nothing worth remembering. There have a huge selection on their Seafood portion. The prawns and all were really fresh and there's even lobsters! It's quite rare to find lobsters in international buffet though. They have quite a spread of salads such as asparagus salad, salmon salad, tomato salad etc. There is also a selection of sushi and sashimi for the Japanese lover. Unfortunately, the sashimi wasn't fresh on that day, we stopped having it after that.

The desserts portion were quite limited and tasted alright, nothing special except the durian puree, it's satisfying for a durian lover like myself. All in all, the food tasted average and variety can be quite limited if you're comparing to other hotels. (:

Full review:http://www.jacqsowhat.com/2015/07/old-bibiks-famous-peranakan-rendang.html

The idea behind Old Bibik now is to package traditional Nyonya dishes in a fast food concept at wallet friendly prices. Old Bibik's Peranakan Kitchen started out in 2012 as a food stall at the former Lavender Food Square, I'm sure some of us would know of. They have then expanded the menu to include traditional favorites such as the Ayam Buah Keluak, Udang Nenas Masak Lemak etc. No doubt the Beef Rendang was the highlight, braised beef is slow cooked for hours till tender in their special rempah sauce. The beef chunks were soft and tender, accompanied with the rich rempah sauce. It is also an ideal place for lunch with it's affordable lunch sets a5 $5 nett. Fellow muslim friends can find joy dining here too with a wide range of items.

Full review: http://www.jacqsowhat.com/2015/02/sakura-international-buffet-yio-chu-kang.html
Sakura YCK has recently revamped it's storefront and showcase 8 different cuisines from Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Thailand, US, France and Singapore - all in one place. Some of the special dishes like Boston Lobster & Argentina Red Prawn Hokkien Mee, Baked Egg Tart w Bird's Nest and free flow of Liu Sha Bao. most of these are avaliable for dinner only $30.90++ onwards. My favorite top item were the bird nest egg tarts, they were crispy on the crust and a slight tinge of bird nest flavor in the egg.

I like how there's a mini steamboat for every table now for shabu shabu dining. Another highlight now is Belgian Chocolate Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream with Chocolate Lava Cake. This is truly indulgence on every level especially if it's free flow. also dinner only. So i would suggest going for the dinner because most of the good food are there. And it's halal!
