Best toasts Smile Jan 20, 2014

I love Yakun's kaya butter toast, although sometimes waiting time could be quite long.I can have them anytime of the day for breakfast, lunch or dinner.Best to go with a cup of nice iced milo and plate of watery half cooked egg mixed with soya sauce and pepper. This combo is really addictive.I tried their kaya puffs too and it is actually quite nice as the puff is soft and inner kaya fillings not too sweet as well.

I love Popeyes!I am happy that they have more outlets all over Singapore now as compared to last time we can only have it in their only outlet at the Changi airport.Ordered a two piece fried chicken meal and upsized the drink and fries and added on large coleslaw to my meal.Chicken is very well fried with crispy exterior and juicy interior.Fries is crispy and addictive, nice to eat even without having to dip with chilli sauce.I love their coleslaws best as it is slightly sweet with nice crunchy veggies.

healthy yummy nuts Smile Jan 20, 2014

This is a new outlet and i love to come here for healthy and delicious nuts. They are mostly sold per 100gram depending on the nuts, nut mixes or items you choose. They have festive cookies such as pineapple tarts for the upcoming lunar new year too.My favourite would be their smoked nut mixes and caramel nut mixes at about $5 to $6 per 100 grams which is very reasonable as they are very fresh and warm as you recieve them ,as their display case has heater encapsuled just like an oven.In the various nut mixes there are almonds, cashew nuts, macademias, brazil nuts, pine nuts etc. They are great tasting, crunchy and healthy, and makes perfect snack anytime.

I was here for a few times, the buffet used to be ala carte order, you can order from the menu and the waiter will bring your food to you but now they have changed to self service, the food are laid out in front at the buffet counter and you can take whatever you want but they are not replenished fast enough upon finished. They used to have some free mains which can be ordered once per person too such as the seafood kimchi soup, cold noodle too but not available anymore.Food and service is normal, nothing to rave about.

bakchormee Smile Jan 20, 2014

Categories : Noodles

Eat is a good plate for people who loves a quick meal or to relax and chill over a cup of coffee or tea for a short break after shopping. They have local favourites such as laksas, fishball noodles, bakchormees. For about $5 you could get a bowl of your favourite noodle with drink in an air-conned place which is quite value for money.I love their bakchormee best with meepok, little vinegar and extra chilli.I love their noodle which is cooked the right consistency and not too soggy. With the fried wanton, mushroom slices, minced meat ,fishball and veggies, its a complete meal.
