Categories : Fusion | Café | Hotel | Kids-Friendly

This hotel restaurant offered credit card promotion 1 for 1 during certain period. It's worth a try if for promotion but not worth for the usual prices.

I went for dinner on a weekday night. The food they offered are standard but not much and limited variety..

The dessert spread is quite good in hotel standard. Taste wise, the chocolate cake was decent and others was just passable.

The oysters and poached prawn were fresh.

Taiwanese delights OK Feb 07, 2014
Categories : Noodles

I paid my visit during a weekend lunch at jurong point branch. It is a Taiwanese style restaurant. The place was fully crowded and the opening dining place might make you feel uncomfortable as the people passing by might look at you eating.

The food was quite ordinary and standard. The service was ok. But their drinks were good and they offered good range of choices which I was impressed.

New year lunch set for 10 pax OK Feb 07, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

I bought groupon voucher for SGD198 for 10 pax set lunch. However, I saw the promotion in front of the restaurant itself which require no booking or reservation.

Maybe due to the public holiday, the restaurant was full of people. Most of them had dim sum instead of the Chinese tze char dishes.

The set lunch we had was average. Despite that, the steamed egg cake impressed me. It is not usual ma lai gou which other dim sum place offered, but it's a type of egg cake will corn filling layer in between. The texture is smooth and moist which perfect to end my meal.

New year tea time OK Feb 07, 2014
Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

I was there during new year tea time as all the restaurant was fully occupied and long queue. Luckily I got my seat at toast box after ordering from the counter. The place was nearly fully occupied too.

The food is just standard and normal. It is a place for short meet and go. Their kaya toast is ordinary. I will not always visit this place as I can find better Kaya toast somewhere else easily.

Colorful xiao long bao OK Feb 07, 2014

Categories : Shanghainese | Restaurant | Dim Sum | Noodles

I paid my visit during a weekend Sunday lunch. It was very crowded and long queue in front of the restaurant. However, we were able to get our seat fast because we chosen the seat outside which was no air-con.

The famous colorful xiao long bao were good but not impressive. Maybe I had too high expectation after went through too many good reviews online.

Despite that, I love their dessert which was perfect for cooling during a sunny day.  The red bean pancake was ok but a tad oily.
