Our company had our annual Christmas lunch at this buffet restaurant located at mandarin orchard along orchard road on 20th of December 2013.

The buffet spread was above average. Their dessert variety is quite a lot however the quality was bad. Despite that, thumb up for the bread pudding which I preferred as the best dessert of the day. 

Their seafood range is limited but fresh. Sashimi is fresh too. Other local and western delight worth a try also. Their honey baked ham was juicy and decent.

It is a well-known and famous dessert shop located at central heart of Chinatown. It's only within 5 minutes walking distance from Chinatown mrt station. 

They offer quite range of hot and cold dessert as well as some local snack. Their price are also affordable. Although it's crowded all the time, but you can get your order very fast. 

Recommendation: yam paste, peanut paste, pumpkin kueh, rice dumpling in ginger soup

Hifumi was one of my favorite restaurant as it offer semi buffet style which you order one main course set and compliments with free flow appetizer on the bar, you may add on SGD1.99 for free-flow drink also. I love their chawanmushi and pumpkin salad. Their pumpkin walnut salad was a legend! Their main course are mediocre. 

However, recent visit disappointed me. The free flow drink prices increased to SGD2.99. The variety and quality of appetizer is not good anymore. 

 Remarks: Avoid the branch at plaza sing which restricted dining time to 90 minutes and also bad service.

I paid few visit to this restaurant located at suntec city basement, fountain of wealth. You can dine in the area outside which have a view of the fountain.. This restaurant offers western main course compliment with all-you-can-eat deli bar..

The deli bars are quite decent, mainly serving salad, croissant, soup, mushroom salad, fruit.. I love their pumpkin salad and chickpea salad.. 

The prices is higher for dinner..

I paid my visit to penny university at east area during Christmas Day 25/12/2013 around 1pm.. The place was packed and we waited half an hour to get our seat. You place your order at the counter then you get your table no.. The cafe is quite small and can only fit not more than 15 table.. 

The food and service was good.. However, the poached egg were overcooked on the day.. 

The must try is hot chocolate which the taste is just perfect in my opinion.. Not too sweet..
