Good:
- The brownie with french vanilla ice-cream taste heavenly! Fine and smooth authentic vanilla ice-cream matches perfectly with the warm chocolate-y brownie! Delicious!
- Ordered the duck leg with orange. Unique combination. Duck meat is tender and tasty.
- Great service staff.

- Walking distance from the MRT station.

Not-so-good:
- As this cafe gets more popular, the wait time for seats get longer as well, especially with the small space and very limited number of tables it has.

Overall:
Will return for the food in future. Will also recommend it to friends.

Recommended Dish(es):  Duck leg confit

Spending per head: Approximately $20

Good:
- Their chicken cutlet with parmesan cheese tastes and looks great and appetising! However towards the end one may get a little sick of it. The fries that accompanies the chicken taste average.
- Ordered the chicken pizza as well. Not too hard and not too dry. The baked cheese tastes fantastic!
- Love the guava ice-blended as well.

Not-so-good:
- Prices are a little on the expensive side.

Overall:
Will drop by once in a while. Will recommend to friends though.

Korean food craving OK Mar 11, 2014

Good:
- Located on the 7th storey of Orchard Central mall, the alfresco dining style creates a nice and chilling ambience. In addition, the decorations makes one feel as if he is dining in a garden.
- Staff service is great.

Not-so-good:
- The food tastes average at best. Ordered bimbimbap but it tastes different from others that i have eaten outside. Not as fragrant and delicious, in my opinion. Also ordered the grilled pork but they taste too dry and hard.

Overall:
Will probably not return again as there are many better ones out there.

Family dinner Smile Mar 11, 2014

Good:
- Wide range of sushi to choose from. (from the normal maki to the unique mango sushi)
- The quality of sushi in sushi tei is very high. Delicious and fresher as compared to those budget ones like sushi express.
- The soft-shell crab handroll also tastes great with the crunchy soft-shell crab wrapped in soft beaded rice and crispy seaweed.
- Nice ambience at this 2-storey building. Like a village. Great for romantic couples, as well as family or friends gatherings.
- Great staff service.

Not-so-good:
- Sushi tei is always popular, hence the long queue to get a seat (unless you go really early to avoid to peak meal timings)
- Away from the MRT station. Parkings are plentiful at Serangoon Gardens though.

Overall:
Will definitely return again and again for the sushi. Will also recommend to friends.

Vietnamese food in the east OK Mar 11, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Vietnamese

Good:
- Ordered beef pho. The beef tastes soft and easy to bite while the soup is flavourful and fragrant, not too salty.
- Chilli, bean sprout and lime is placed at the side of the bowl for you to add in at your own preference, which is great.

Not-so-good:
- A short walk from the mrt station is needed.
- Limited carparks along the roadside.

Overall:
Would return to eat again one day when i am around that area.
