Interesting new launched. It's the toblerone chocolate puff! So interesting and since i like the chocolate, i decided to give this a try. To my dismay, it was horrible! The inner part was empty. Basically, the entire puff was coated with a layer of melted sugar. It was pretty sweet and the inside was just plain. I wonder if they forgotten the fillings or what. No chocolate at all! And this small piece cost $3. Madness!

New Soon Huat Bak Kut Teh  Smile Jul 18, 2012

Categories : Bak Kut Teh

Passed by here while sourcing for a place to dine. It is at Jalan Kayu and there wasn't many people in it. Perhaps we were too early for dinner. Well, we had their bak kut teh since it was once of their main item. There're alot of photos pasted around the shop. Looked pretty popular. Anyway, the soup is really fragrant and tasty and the pork ribs are cooked till really soft and tender. I love to eat it with dark soya sauce. Everything was great including their service. You can top up your soup without charges too!

Eng's Char Siew Wan Ton Mee  Smile Jul 18, 2012

Awesome wanton noodles from Eng’s. The noodles are special and delicious. It is exceptionally springy and tasty. The sauce was fragrant too. I guess the star of the entire dish should be their chilli. It is spicy and fantastic! I love the soup as well. It is homemade and taste strongly of ikan bilis and soy beans. Healthy and mouth-watering. The wanton are nice and fresh too. Hot and crispy on the outside and tasty and tender on the inside.

Four Seasons Durians  Smile Jul 18, 2012

Durian lovers like me would definitely like this! The fragrant pancake really blend well with the thick portion of durian paste in it. The pancakes are hot and a little crispy at the sides and the durian paste are cold and thick on the inside. Best of all, it is made upon order. Guaranteed freshness! They have durian cakes, pastries and many more. Here is definitely a one stop station for durian fans!

Soya Milk Smile Jul 08, 2012

Categories : Hawker Centre

After my Kopi, Mom left half cup of soya milk for me to try. The taste of the soya milk was slightly better than other hawker one. The sugar syrup was control well therefore it is not too sweet non bitter. The Soya milk doesnt not taste powderish as there some foodcourt do sell powder make soya milk. Ice cube was sufficient to chill the drink and not causing the soya milk to be over diluted. And best thing is only cost $0.60 for a big cup.
