Billy Bombers American Diner Smile Jul 19, 2012

All american dinner at Billy Bombers. My meal consist of rice, hotdog, tempura prawns and a chicken drumstick. The chicken was well marinated and tender. It was fresh. However, i didn't really like the prawns. It wasn't too fresh in my opinion. Love the hotdog as well. It was crispy on the outer layer and tasty on the inner. Drizzled with mustard sauce which goes really well! The rice was a little too dry for my liking. All in all, it's a great meal!

Went to their new branch at Palais Renaissance. It was very nice and the ambience was just as great as the other branches. It is located at the basement. Walk down a spiral stairway and you will come to this garden place. I had Gnocchi Forestiere. Basically Parisian gnocchi sauteed with onions and an assortment of field mushrooms in pink tomato sauce with Italian parsley and aged parmesan cheese. It was a little sourish due to the tomato sauce i guess. Overall, not too bad a dish but i would still prefer their cream base dish.

Seafood Alio Olio is spicy and delicious! The seafood in it are really fresh. There are mussels, squids, prawns and scallops all cooked in white wine sauce with olive oil, chilli and Italian parsley. The mussels are a little tough to chew though. Other than that, the rest were nice and tender. I think the sauce plays a big part. It made the entire dish really fragrant and brings out the sweetness of the seafood with a tinge of spiciness.

My GF loves this petit doughnut and i will never fail to get her these everytime i chance by. I equally love these cute little doughnuts as well. The fillings inside is really smooth and cooling. Just delicious. Also, there are a few varieties to choose from. From the shapes and sizes to its' fillings. I love the custard and cream cheese ones the best followed by chocolate. Worth giving it a try for those who haven't!

Por Kee Eating House  Smile Jul 18, 2012

Full house on festive seasons! Be sure to book a place before heading down. We had a few dishes and the waiting time is pretty fast. Of course you will have to wait for a longer period if it's on a festive day with full house! The starter there is really nice and innovative. We had a ball of unknown. Upon first bite, i tasted minced meat and salted egg yolk. The texture is delicious. Outside is crispy and hot, the inside is soft and tasty!
