Traditional homemade ice cream Smile Dec 05, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Café | Ice Cream and Gelato

Tom's palette homemade ice cream has been serving the ice cream since 2005. They emphasis on the no stabilisers for ice cream.
Various flavours created by Tom's palette such as cheesecake, tiramisu, etc. Do check out with the friendly staff for the new flavors.
Chocolate stout and summer berry was the final decision for us after the sampling of various flavors. The chocolate stout is a bit bitter and mixed well with the summer berry which is a mixture of sweet and sour.
Will definitely go there for dessert again. lol

$2 WonderFood Smile Dec 05, 2010

Well-known ice kachang in singapore. The stall was being advertised on channel U's $2 wonderfood.(shi zai hao pian yi).
Their signature dish is the peanut ice kachang. The ice will melt in the mouth and you will have red bean, atap chee, jelly below the ice.
Besides the ice kachang, they are also selling other dessert. I will also recommend the ai yu bing. It's blended ice with jelly and mixed with the lime.
They are located at the tanjong pagar plaza market & food centre which is very hot and dirty but the stall are always long queue during lunch time.

Laksa @ Toast Box Smile Dec 05, 2010

Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

Toast box is no longer selling only bread and coffee. The laksa and mee siam are getting more and more popular at toast box.
They are selling the laksa @ $4.50 and mee siam @ $3.50. Price is reasonable and the food is delicious. There's 2 or 3 prawns, plenty of taupok and slice fish cake. Everything is fine and it would better if they can give more soup. tongue
Tiong bahru outlet is quite small. Try to get yourself to sit inside instead of the table outside.

Wave House Sentosa Smile Dec 04, 2010

When we sit down the server serve us with the ice water and fresh baked bread with butter and olive oil.
We've ordered the seafood chowder as appertiser, main course is pan-fried barramund and dessert is suffer's home made lava chocolate cake.
The seafood chowder is very thick, creamy and full of fresh seafood ingredient.
Pan-fried barramund served with garlic mash, fennel slaw served with orange-butter sauce. It's daily delivered from St. John's island.
Lava Chocolate cake: the chocolate melted in my mouth.
The environment is romantic and suitable for couples.
Very good food experience and i would definitely go again. smile

When it comes to italian food, the first 2 dishes that come to my mind are pizza and pasta! Thanks to Openrice and I was treated to a variety of italian dishes during their ORTU. When you first entered the premise, you will be charmed by the nicely-decorated ambience and shelves of wine for you to choose from.

I would like to stress on their delicious pizza as they come in THIN-CRUST unlike other big pizza company. I love their cheese pizza that comes with anchovies! The taste is unique and awesome and I can assure you that you will not be able to find any similar taste from other pizza companies.

Second on my list is the tiger prawn with scallop pasta. The ingredients are fresh and the taste of the dish turns out to be just nice (Not too strong or too bland).

Last but not least for desert, We had tiramisu cake and molten chocolate cake. They are so yummy! I like the experience when the waiter lit the torch and burnt the top layer of the chocolate cake and the "burnt" cake simply melts in my mouth.

I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a quiet and cozy environment to have a romantic dinner with your loved ones =P
